    • Hi,

These hoverboards are Australian approved, you can view information here:
      https://compliance.modernpowersolutions.com.au/

Unfortunately, this deal only applies to the Red & Blue colours as we have too many of them that we need to get rid of.

Q1. Will this blow up my house?

Probably. Smart Gizmos went out of business after they were forced to recall these in the UK.

      • so is this safe or not op?

        • Hi,

Yes, these were imported into Australia by a different business, and are different (much newer) models altogether.

They are compliant with Australian standards, and have been distributed by various companies around Australia without any issues.

          Thanks,

    still illegal to use anywhere?

    • Hi,

It depends on which state you are in.

They are illegal in some states to use in public areas.

They are legal in private areas.

      Thanks,

      • Private area?

Such as? In your home? Backyard?

New South Wales riders can take their skateboards on roads, footpaths and shared paths, giving way to pedestrians and bikes. Queenslanders can do the same, in many cases, but must wear an “approved bicycle helmet”.

In Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania, however, the laws restrict motorised skateboards to private property only.

(what about electric bicycles ? couldn't one argue a bit? )

  • Bought from them, after a week the cancelled the order and said they can not ship to Victoria.

Why is it even an option to ship to vic if you cant?
