      Locked - I just inserted an Aldi SIM and a message on the screen reads that it is "Network Locked". I've updated the title.

      Yupe it was good deal but phone volume was too low

      It hardly make sense when you can't have a proper conversation on smart phone even on loud speakers

        Mmm . you must have a defective device. Neither of ours have this issue .. I can conduct a conversation using the speaker from across the room!!

          agree, speaker on mine is fine on calls, volume certainly no issue (pretty rubbish on quality when playing music though)

      It had one of those big yellow price tags showing the original price and the discounted price - it even said "40% off" on the yellow tag. Also, there was an A3 size poster at the stand where all the phones are that showed the special.

      Maybe you can get your local Coles to call the Pacific Fair Coles to confirm - they might do the deal for you if you tell them that you saw it there yesterday but decided to get it from your local Coles when you returned home after your holiday/business trip/etc.

      Also, keep in mind that this is for the Vodafone pack. The Coles that I picked it up from still had the Optus and Telstra pack for $139.
