Do they have sales like this in Europe?
Sometimes Accor have worldwide sales.
This is not a list for the current promotion, but a previous one from one of their worldwide sales: http://loyaltylobby.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/document5…
It's probably a good guide however.
Although, I'm not sure if this sale or the worldwide sale with free breakfast is better value?
Looks about right - I can't find any special rates at the Sofitel in Melbourne & its not on the previous hotel list either.
when you take a look at any of the accor hotel, be careful of their promotion.
The so call member, 40% off may turn up to cost more than a travel website normal price.Did a search for hotels in Japan and couldn't find any at 40% off
yea same. What a lazy deal…
TAXES AND RESIDENT FEE NOT INCLUDED
Booked Ibis on Bencoolen in Singapore during Easter period with 40% off. Plus 4.8% cashback with Cashrewards!
May I know which date you book? I try to search for Easter eve for the same hotel but no sales…
23rd-24th… You are right, I just checked and the hotel is not on sale anymore… Not sure why!
Probably a limited number of rooms at the promo price?
I'd be wary of the claimed 40% off, I imagine that's on rack rate, not the generally 30% off for 30+ day bookings offered online… only yesterday I was looking at certain Accor group hotels in Bangkok, the listed price was identical to the big OTAs, now that this sale has commenced the price has only dropped $30 on a $319 booking, nowhere near the claimed 40%, despite it being a participating hotel.
I booked for Singapore at Ibis on Bencoolen (same as bomb3rman above). AU$383 (incl taxes) for 4 nights 2 people whereas all the other places such ad agoda, expedia, booking.com etc. were giving me AU$590-$600. That's close enough to 40% off + 4.8% CR.
Glad someone is getting benefit from it! Enjoy your stay.
As everyone knows "Always Shop Around"
I've found that its typically its 40 / 50% off the flexible rate listed on the Accor website.
Staying in Paris for a few nights in March >< missing out.
As ACCOR plus members probably already know, they get upgrades etc. but, from my experience, hardly worth it and their VIP treatment is BS.
I've actually found quite the opposite.
I joined a year ago (during a previous supersale) & have got great value from my card so far.The biggest benefit is a free night - especially if you plan to book a more expensive hotel.
The normal price for membership in Australia is $385 but I joined via Fiji (PM if you would like the contact) & it was about A$200.
At this price its usually worth it for the free night alone (especially if you can use it for a night at a more expensive hotel or in a more expensive location or time of year). The extra 10% discount plus 50% off food (even if you aren't staying there is a great bonus).
I also found that the additional 10% off actually works out to be about 15 - 20% off the cheapest rate (because it is an additional 10% off the full price). Eg if flexible rate is $1000, 40% is $600 & 50% is $500 so AccorPlus members effectively save an additional 16.67% off the non-member rate (at all times, not just the sale).
The 50% off food also makes breakfast at the expensive places much more reasonable (whereas normally you wouldn't have breakfast at the hotel & have to find somewhere else to eat).
Agree with you, I used to join the Indonesia le club dooring that time it cost me $200, it give me 2 free night 2 free room upgrade and 2 breakfast. just that 2 free night alone paid for itself, I get free 2 night stay in mgalley legian Bali that $250 a night, and used the room upgrade in next 2 night plus brake fast, and move to mercury sanur with 50% discount that $65 but pernight cannot complain with that, and used the rest of the terms 10% off in Australia, the beauty of Accor you can useit for cheapy stay in ibis budget to expensive hotel like Sofitel.
Hi Gaz1, I'm interested in jointing via Fiji. Please let me know how I would go about booking. Thanks
Please PM me & I'll let you know the details.
@Gaz1:
Will do tomo as I'm a new member :)
Nothing in Thai, Never found a hotel with this mob that I couldn't find cheaper elsewhere,
40% yeah right. The extra 10% discount for Accor plus member does not seem to work anymore. I managed to book with the extra 10% off yesterday but when I searched again just now, it's only the usual 40% discount (I was logged in as Accor Plus member). Their promo page also no longer mentioned anything about Accorplus member getting extra 10% off anymore, could anyone please confirm?
Their web sites are terrible to use. I searched several times for you for a hotel, and always got 10 nights 2094.00 AUD
Then I went via https://www.accorplus.com/en/australia/your-member-area
and got 2 choices to click on:-
1. Asia Pacific Sale - 50% off
Limited time offer for members: Enjoy 50% off your stay at participating hotels in Asia Pacific! 1745.00 AUD
2. Asia Pacific Sale - 40% off!
Limited time offer: Enjoy 40% off hotels across Asia Pacific! 2094.00 AUDYes, I noticed that the search only shows the 40% off rate even if I am logged in with my Accor Plus number.
I only see the 50% rate when I click on a hotel & click on a room to see more details. Thanks heaps Peck and Gaz1!
Has anyone get the cashreward tracking yet? I haven't…that's after two days, is this normal?
Do you have a list of participating hotels by any chance?
