  • Anything? A bucket!
    Sweet deal

    • +2

No idea if these 1000L containers will fit in the store

      • Should fit in very easy, have many of them on the farm

        • +1

getting it through the door might be difficult. Might need to bring a hose to attach to the machine.

      • +1

Not sure the machine can give that much slurpee to fill it.

  • +3

Looks like I'll be bringing a hose and a clamshell pool.

    • +3

A late valentines gift? ..Oh you shouldnt have! Maybe this year you'll get into my clamshell pool..

      • It's not too late…

        • March 7? Well, I guess some people have different standards

        • @dfaktz: early for next year ;)

        • +2

@humdingaling: wouldn't be the only thing coming early

        • +1

    Fill Anything with Slurpee

Anything you say? ( อกยฐ อœส– อกยฐ)

    • +4

Anything except the deep dark void of regret you get afterwards.

      • +1

Not stated in T&C so you're wrong on that one, my friend.

    • Yep.

      • annnnnd both machines are now empty! lol

    • Slurptse?

  • A.K.A. all our machines are running on warm syrup dispensing mode, because we get a bazillion bags for free and oughta sell as much as you fools can take.

  • Bunnings have their mid-large sized plastic buckets on sale at the moment, too. Great timing thanks OP.

    • +3

Too unambitious. I'm thinking inflatable pool.

      • +1

Yeah but are you inflating the pool with slurpee, or filling the pool with slurpee? Hey maybe you could do both!

        • +2

Yo dawg i heard you like slurpees….

      • +1

I'm thinking underground slurpee sequestration, just need a long hose to pump it in to my house. I'll get started on digging tonight, I technically own it all down to earths core right?

In a hundred years, wars will be fought over my family's slurpee deposits.

    • A grown man - wearing a black nappie.

  • +5

There is a gauge in store. Your "cup" must pass through the gauge, otherwise they will not allow you to participate the $1 fill up deal.

    • Does it also measure length?

      • As far as I know, it does not measure length.

The gauge was there to scare people with water tanks. Any reasonable sized container will not be rejected. From my observation, the gauge was not strictly enforced in the store I visited.

        • +1

how about a hose then? Put the other end out the shop thus the container ends at the entrance and can fit through the hole.

        • +2

Respect the length. Fear the width.

      • -2

        You've had a bad experience with girls…I can tell… ;)

    • +2

Cut out bottom of cup and use it to funnel Slurpee into Esky below :p

    • do you mean the cup must fit between the gauge and the machine?

  • +1

Anyone else going to attempt to haul along an Olympic sized swimming pool?

  • +26

I know this is a fun deal, but it's stupid. Last two times I have been to one of these they were either sold out (other greedy wasteful morons gutted the place) or last time, there was a guy there filling an Esky that was bigger than the machine itself. His excuse, it was cheaper than bags of ice. He wouldn't even let me get or the other lady there just get a cup full each. All it does is shows how greedy and inconsiderate most humans are…

    • -3

      quick and the dead buddy

    • Let nature take its course.

      • Type 2 diabetes anyone?

    • +2

You should of spat in it.

      • +2

I believe his comment was, "just scoop it out of me esky, mate." An esky that stunk of fish guts and was dirty inside, I don't think he would have cared if I spat in it, as it was "cheaper than bags of ice."

        • I'm not a violent kind of person, but I probably would have clocked him

  • +2

    Will be bringing two girls…

    • +14

I'm guessing that they won't be bringing one cup each?

    • +3

Make sure you get them to empty their cup first…

      • +2

        And clean it

  • +10

    1) buy a slushie machine
    2) fill slushie machine with 7/11 slushie machine
    3) ????
    4) profit!

  • no slurpee for me but ill be selling buckets outside.

  • +1

    Hmm.

came here for the comments, not disappointed looool

  • Wheelie bin

  • i want to see some photos of the ginormous things people got filled with slurpee
that giant coffee mug from We're the Millers would do nicely i think

  • +1

It seems that everyone has a short memory. 7-Eleven and their franchisees are only able to pay for these promotions because they pay their workers less than minimum wage!

    • so in return we help the workers to squeeze dry their machine…

  • This is just about right

I wonder what would happen if you filled a balloon with slurpee…

  • Yeah there is a hole you have to fit the container through first but if it's a long thin container, it should be alright.

  • +1

Most machines will be out of order no doubt

  • A true ozbargainer would dry out the slurpy to create sugar, and resell it at $1+

  • $2 bucket from Woolies works a treat.

    • Or the $10 80L crates from bunnings

  • that's today! wow it sucks to be in Adelaide, no 7/11 and worse, I can't bring a 10 litre bucket and clear out that supply

  • Once again Darwin misses out ;( because we don't have a 7-Eleven.

  • +2

Last time I did this, picture is from years ago when it first started. Guys were super nice about it but I didn't hog.

    http://tinypic.com/r/11gkqrk/9

    • Where did you get a giant official bucket that size? That's awesome!

    • +1

Dude wtf with the rolled up shorts, that's just super weird. Almost as weird as your positioning of the bucket lol

  • +7

"Waste a lot of slurpee day" is the proper title.

ZOMG I can fill up huge container… drink 500ml, get sick of it, then let it melt, then tip it out.

  • An esky counts as a cup right?

  • I assume this is their diabetes promotion day

    • not deliberately but it ends up that way
