Hmm. Probably the most mediocre pricesengine deal so far. UMart has it for $589. So it's still very competatively priced, but they've gone and set the bar really high with their earlier deals :P

  • There's a couple of priceengine deals at the moment so I thought I would just say this here. The Ggiabyte GA-P55A-UD3P Motherboard is $149+shipping. Cheapest on static ice is $174. http://pricesengine.com/productdeals/pe10073053#getShipping

    Msy have it for $189

Edit: Just noticed this too was on their Facebook page, which the OP has linked to in his post.

  • Its a good deal, but when you consider having to post it back for warranty issues, its much easier to go to a local place like umart.

  • But it says - Warranty: 2Years Pickup Repair Return. I believe umart would tell u to deal with the manufacturer and not them.

Which is illegal, all retailers must offer statutory warranty, so you must be able to send it to the retailer if you haven't done anything to break the statutory warranty. The retailer must also give you a refund within a reasonable amount of time for the price you paid.

Note that this statutory warranty is not even defined to what everyone thinks as the legal 12 month warranty, but this statutory warranty lasts as long as is reasonable for the amount of money you spent - which can easily go beyond 5 years on high-end equipment.
