      The problem with eBay feedback is that it comes soon after items are received, so it doesn't really give an indication of ongoing support.

      • you can also get neg feedback removed, ive had several sellers who duped me have negs removed. some ive contacted ebay about and got them reinstated while others they never put back. ebay really is nothing more than a scammers paradise these days

        in sayin that, his negs are pretty bad…
        http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&u…

        • Most of those negs are incredibly poorly written.

    oh no.. I hope I don't have to put any warranty claims through…
    bought my head unit through them…

    • -7

      any warranty claims generally go directly back to the manufacture , warranty turn around is usually very fast

      • +9

        That's illegal, warranty goes through the seller as per accc

        • -10

          Actually its not, and its approved by all of the suppliers we deal with

        • +1

          someone else sent something back to them for warranty and he stopped replying to contacts and never returned the item

        • +10

          @Supercheapeverything:
          Australian Consumer Protection laws require the seller to handle the warranty on behalf of the purchaser. Of course the purchaser can choose to go to the manufacturer, but that's up to them, not you.

        • -1

          @puffinfresh:

          after trouble shooting we facilitate the return direct from the client to the manufacturer,or in many cases the manufacturer may have a service center in the clients neighborhood in which case we facilitate the service thru that medium to cut down on the time it takes to get the product back to the client.

          @nosdan:
          we agree there was some issues with your case dan, and we have apologized and refunded you in full, beyond that im not sure what else we can do to satisfy you.

        • +10

          @Supercheapeverything: you are a (profanity) liar, not only did you never return messages etc but when i was forced to put in a paypal caes you (profanity) contested it and i never got anyting back so i am out of pocket with a product that was DOA.

          you lied on the last deal you posted too and i exposed your lies.

        • +11

          @nosdan:

          Thanks man, you saved me the headache

        • -1

          @nosdan:
          are you saying that you have not been refunded and that you have a faulty unit is that correct ? does your fault originate from a factory or application issue ? the only reason that we would not have refunded you on a product is if it was not a factory fault, i will ask tech support to review your case again now but if you damaged the unit in the installation of it then of course its not covered by warranty regardless ill if you would like to email the make model and serial number of the unit into [email protected] tech support will look at it again for you, but all units that are factory faulty are usually replaced or if not refunded.

        • +9

          @nosdan: I love social media for this very reason. Thanks @nosdan saving me, I was going to buy a Pioneer 4ch amp kit from them (ebay).

        • +6

          @dealspider: if you go back to his other deal you can see me busting him lying as well, ive also had other people since PM me with horror stories etc. luckily i only blew $100 but if hes willing to ruin his business over $100 warranty claim (that would have only cost him some shipping) it tells me a lot about his morals…

        • -1

          @nosdan:
          so if you install a product incorrectly damage it, its then inspected by the manufacturer an deemed to be a faulty due to installation error we are supposed to ware the loss for your mistake ? like i said the only time we dont refund or replace is when its not a factory fault.

          im sorry you have had a bad experience with us. as i have said before if you would like to send in the make and model and serial number of your unit to [email protected] tech support will look look over it again for you.

        • +6

          @nosdan: Pretty funny how here they recommend people buy theirs vs a cheaper one overseas due to warranty issues, then we hear your story and heaps of others in their negative feedback about them basically ignoring warranty requests…

          and now you are already back with trying to blame me for a set of speakers that have a crackle in them, i assume from a dodgy crossover…. and like i said in your last deal i tried contacting you through multiple different ways and you either palmed me off or gave me incorrect contact details or simply never answered/replied again. you just cant stop lying can you?

        • +3

          @shapers: yea mate, this is why i had setup an alert so they will never again post a deal here without getting shitcanned. $100 is not a great deal of money to throw away for me it was just more annoyed at the service and the constant stream of lies this rep gives. if i ever found anywhere else they post deals online id be all over that as well :)

          thanks for the support, certainly makes it worth it

        • @nosdan:
          as i said i thought you had been refunded, we have 1000's of transactions per month that we process so its impossible to keep track of them all, regardless if you feel you have been wrongfully done by please submit the make model and serial number to tech support and they will have a look at for you again.

        • +1

          @Supercheapeverything:

          they will have a look at for you

          so i can send them back in, at my cost for a DOA (against the law) so you can keep them and never reply to my messages again as you have done not only to me but to other customers i have spoken to since your last deal? yea… sounds legit… specially after already claiming you had refunded me…

          your full of shit mate.

        • -7

          @nosdan:

          not a problem dan, well if your not willing to speak to tech support about this there isnt much i can to do help you.

          all the best ill also have them pull this offer to you guys now also

        • +1

          @DisabledUser99284: Hanfg on, which hat are you going to wear here? Eight minutes earlier you told Member nosdan …

          we have apologized and refunded you in full

          … and now you are asking what happened.

          @DisabledUser99284:

          @DisabledUser99284:

          Your attitude stinks, I'm surprised you had the balls to post on here, your also not very good at lying either.

          Its funny that you think you can fool everyone with your lies, the only fool that actually believes them is you.

    Bye rep!

    • +9

      it's a shame they are gone.. they provided excellent free entertainment.

      great job too nosdan, our local A Current Affair reporter!

  • +2

    Not worth throwing a 100 dollars away. I'll buy a better quality product and save the hassle.

    • +4

      And Fusion certainly never represents 'quality'… :)

      • -1

        which suggests most people who buy it don't have too much knowledge about car audio….

        • +2

          Yet you up voted the deal… Why?

        • @Spackbace: I've bought some fusion gear (mind you i also have Rainbow, old pre-chinese MB Quart, Boston etc..) and for 99 bucks, i don't think there would be too many better out there.

          Same as Sony's Xplod line back in the day. It was cheap, but as long as you go into it with the right expectations, it performs as it should

        • @Matt P:
          Sony Xplod! My old camry had an Xplod head unit and 6x9s back in the day. Memories.. I couldn't turn the volume up past a certain point and had to have the balance and fade set JUST RIGHT or it would simply crackle throughout.
          Ahh, those were the days.

  • +8

    lol @ this deal

    rep has NFI about how to deal with unhappy customers

    the dummy spit was just icing on the cake

  • +8

    Thanks to this post, I've removed all of their products from my watched list in ebay.

  • Damn - I love the idea of my very own domestic fusion power plant.
    Better than those crappy solar panels on my roof!

  • +3

    Fusion is going out of the car sound market AFAIK (or more likely already has), so stocks are likely being cleared. Repco was doing powered subs for $78.

    And thanks nosdan, any attempt to correct it now is as good as hush money… sadly, I have an untested Pioneer amp here from them. Best go test it then.

    • Can confirm that they are out of car audio market. All fusion products now are stock that needs to be cleared.

  • I understand nosdan is suitably upset, but the only description of the fault i could see above is crackling of speakers but another post says he had a DOA product? Which was it? Car audio can be tricky to install, its not within the realms of possibility that it was installed wrong. I made some mistakes when i was 17 installing the first amp i ever installed. But i learned from that and have been playing with car audio for almost 20 years.

    For the record, i'm not associated with the seller, but i've bought about 4-5 things from them over the years. OK they probably don't have the customer service to rival David Jones, but often they're the cheapest retailer selling the products they have. Surely you can't expect top shelf customer service at rock bottom prices. When we expect stuff cheaper and cheaper, something has to give. Often, with internet retailers, its the customer service aspect so sometimes its best to just go direct to the manufacturer and accept that as the price you pay for getting something at close to cost for a bricks and mortar store.

    • +1

      im in my mid 40's and been installing car audio, including my old comp systems since i was 15…. pretty sure i know how to hook up a set of splits….

      • I fully understand your desire for the retailer to put it right, but save yourself the headache and send back to fusion (or whoever your product was from). You will have a working product and you can move on with your life

        • +2

          After sales is what its about. Warranty is a legal contract and not a bargaining chip or means to lower prices. IN this listing, nosdan didnt want him to put it right, they had that chance at the time and lied to him instead (or otherwise demonstrated poor business choices), now he is letting everyone know, beware.

          If a stores prices stops them from honouring their legal obligations the sooner they go out of business the better.
