I didn't know this existed - but also very nice!!
Alienware?
remember to always check for metabox deals if gaming is your goal.
Suggestions on 24 - 30 inch 1080p monitors for mainly business use?
I'm not a gamer nor a photo enthusiast however (comma) wouldn't mind something that delivers decent quality for my iPhone photo collection. Might give the Half-Life 2 bundle I bought last year a run-through on newer hardware ats well.Mainly business. Something big enough to do split screen document / presentation creation.
Thanks in advance and….would this be aiiight?
http://au.pcmag.com/dell-ultrasharp-24-infinityedge-monitor-…Hardare to be used with:
Surface Pro 4 i7-6650 8gb RAM (with surface Dock)
Dell Inspiron 15 'Signature Edition' i5If you specifically want a monitor with very small bezels and a base that can pivot, height adjust and tilt, Ultrasharps are pretty great
However if you don't specifically require the Dell's awesome pivoting, height-adjustable base, you can buy very high resolution monitors up to 28 inches in size for around $400 dollars (regularly they are $500, but sometimes go on sale for less). That's if you want the extra screen real estate for some heavy multi-tasking.
The LG 27UD58 27" UHD 3840x2160 IPS Monitor was $439 during Chinese new year eBay sale. It might be on sale again soon.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/289916Thank you very much @scrimshaw!
Is it a good deal? Only 8G mem, and no SSD
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Alienware-Aurora-Gaming-Desk…No, that's terrible.
Yikes. that's terrible value.
Yep totally good value …. not
better off with this deal or these on dell website
theyve removed the alienware items off there ebay site, none where any good anyway, but if you really wanted that particular system its on the above links $1199 with 1tb hd but can upgrade to 2tb for $37 would of been cheaper then the ebay prices $1279.20 vs $1236.40 on there website, also 4% cashback via cashrewards
Are you able to customise any laptops purchased off the ebay site.
Are you able to customise any laptops purchased off the ebay site.
Yes, you can do whatever you want to them when they arrive at your door.
No, only when buying on their website you can customise.
I hope they have the P2415Q monitor up.
Just depends on the value like that Ebay sale XPS 15 with 8gb ram and 256gb ssd for $2500
I got a quote with, 512 GB SSD and 16GB RAM Ultra HD screen i7-7700hq and gTX 1050 for $2540 so contacting them direct isn't a bad idea
how did you get that price? Are you sure that wasn't the pricing for the XPS 13
$2540 is exclusive of GST. Once you take into account GST, it's only a 10% discount.
Is the xps 13 still plagued by coil whine? Would love to buy one but I've been holding out because of the problem.
Looks like pc.byte is prepping for a 20% off.
Their keyboard prices… Holy hell.Prices have already started going up from what they were this morning.
It's not going to be a good sale, I knew this. I don't know why people blindly up vote deals. You can get a good discount just by asking them over live chat any day. And if you want a significantly better deal, then buy from the outlet.
Can't they be reported to ACCC for doing that?
Thinking of buying the Dell Inspiron 11 3000. Does anyone know if you can upgrade the RAM and hard drive?
On their official website, XPS 13 and 15's description pages say they come with fingerprint scanner. No mention of it on their ebay page.
it says Backlit Keyboard (US/International) without Finger Print Reader
I dont know why the other post - same as your post - got more votes than yours.. heres my plus!
So they all seem to ship from Malaysia? How has this worked in previous deals - so is gst on the invoice and are there import fees?
No Chromebooks?
The tech specs of the dell xps 15 (9560) appear differently from eBay to the dell online store. E.g. 84w versus 97w battery, 2133 MHz versus 2400 MHz ram speed.
I wondering if this is an error or dells way of clearing some parts?
Incredible 20% off now
Looks like they removed the one laptop I was keen on. It's still available on the Dell website
Just purchased the top of the line XPS 15 9560 receiving a whopping $739 savings after 20% off.
Anyone purchased from the eBay store before? What's the process like, when will I get contacted with a Dell official email, including tax invoice and delivery estimates?
$739 saving? which one did you buy?
Bought this,
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322033371916This is a monster of a laptop.
I dont think its good value and the 4k screen significantly reduces battery life. 2K after discount for a brand new 9560 model FHD I suppose is OK. But I am still going to wait for refurb 9550 FHD, being able to upgrade ram and SSD is great and its $1399.
Bought the same. Such a good deal as I was going to purchase it last week to replace my mac from the dell sales rep for 15% off. I thought I'll wait a bit. Worth the wait.
$2,959.20
Saved $739.80
Cashrewards: $44.38Total: $2914.82.
Not bad for the top spec New XPS 15 9560.i forgot my cash rewards!!
oh no!! :(
Does this one come with a touch screen?
yes it does.
4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) InfinityEdge touch
Anyone know if the dell online store ships from Malaysia, too?
Any suggestions for a good desktop under $1000 - I'm thinking of this one.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Inspiron-Desktop-Intel-Core-…
Any advice would be greatly appreciated or do I just hold out for another option? From what I have seen, the prices with the eBay 20% discount are no different to the deals that they are offering directly form their website. The Dell Factory Outlet website seems to be where you can really save money.
http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/product…Great - I'll check it out - thanks for your help
Yes, bookmarked this link ages ago. They will not give you discounts on here though. & it was empty for the last few days. Now a whole lot has come through. For a home business, I just cannot decide if we should go for a new system & try to haggle or go with the outlet.
Possible monitor for the small biz folks…

Both are maxed out at $1000 per transaction arent they?
I got a Razer DeathAdder Chroma 2014 for $63.20, not the cheapest I've seen but cheapest current eBay.
how do you get custom builds on the ebay website? seem to see a few on there specific to some usernames
^ this.
I was about to buy an aorus x3 or gigabyte aero 14 but I'd sell my soul for 20% off the Alienware 13r3 max specYou need to send a message to the Dell store through ebay and request your customisation. You can only customise OS, Anti Virus Software and warranty thought.
Really? They can't do any custom specs or anything? :(
That, and I was hoping to get Alienware… maybe better off waiting for their next big sale and then do cashrewards or something.
Trying to find a USB-C to VGA adaptor on ebay for the XPS 13 and noticed that quite a few mention that it is Macbook compatible only. Can anyone please point to a link with the adaptor that works? I already have a USB-C to HDMI adaptor and that works fine (https://www.ezyhd.com.au/shop/type-c-to-hdmi/).
Can anyone here suggest a decent desktop for intense office use, running a million tabs, 2 screens(if possible), 5-10 apps open at any time? Within (under) 1k? Will get the display from the Dell Outlet site.
Dell XPS 15 7th Gen i7-7700HQ out of stock ! T__T anyone has any clue on whether they'd be restocking ?
prob unlikely for the current 20% off sale.

@Tech and cars:
I'm personally considering the ASUS Zenbook Pro UX501VW (i7-6700HQ,960M,16GB,512GB,4k IPS touch)… It's around the $1900 mark refurbished on ebay.
It is slightly heavier though…at 2.05kg, I think the dell is around 1.9kg? I like the look of the dell better but I think the specs and price are slightly better on the asus, especially because of the longer battery life too.
