      From memory, the Pro has USB Type-c and is slightly thinner.

        Don't be fooled by the language "Type C Charge and Discharge"..
        The Type C port on the Battery is Input only..
        To charge a USB c Device you need to plug in a Type A to Type C cable into the Type A Port.

          @allenhori: scubacoles is correct, it doesn't support output via the type C jack. The only output available is through USB-A (they supply a USB-A to type C cable in the box).

          It says it supports fast charge at 18 watts both ways. it can accept 18 watts inputs and can support output with QC 3.0/QC 2.0/BC 1.2/Apple devices and protocols (if any)

          Yeah, the language is confusing.
          It can be charged via the in-only C port at 18W
          and it can feed power via the out-only USB A port at 18W.
          So the statement is factual, but confusing cause charging a USB c device needs to utilise the included USB type-A to USB type-C cable. Look closely at the picture… the phone is charged from the Type-A port.

          The Xiaomi Mi Power Pro can't consume and feed power through the USB C port like the Tronsmart Presto can.

          @allenhori: That is actually a different version of the powerbank that is being offered here. Only available in China at the moment.           No as above… it charges by USB Type-C and discharges by USB Type-A.
          They supply a Type-A to Type-C cable so you can charge the Powerbank and subsequently power a USB Type-C device from the USB Type-A port.
          So they're not directly lying, but they're being deceptive or at least misleading.

        You'll need something that can output 12V at 3A. Most powerbanks will only do 5V at 2.4A, some QC2.0 or QC3.0 ones may do 12V at 1.5A.

        There are a few 10000mA or 20000mA powerbanks that can work with the surface, but they're all around the $100 AUD mark.

          Oh ok, thanks futaris. That now makes sense out of the snippets that mr. google gave me.
          My surface pro2 runs low on battery very quickly when watching a movie on AirAsia (where only bulkhead rows have recharge sockets). Not a big problem.

      I just purchased this from your website (Xiaomi 10000mAh Power Bank Pro (Type-C & Quick Charge) x1 Item Number GDA-000538) and plugged it into my Nexus 6P.

      Much to my surprise, using the supplied cables, my 6P did NOT fast charge. I then tried it with the cable from my 6P wall charger and found that cable didn't charge at all!

      How do I fast charge?

    Any stock available on the Aukey 20,000mah power bank? The 30,000mah might be a bit too big to take on international flights depending on how strict they are about the max size of lithium batteries.
