will cost 599 after three months
The P9 turned out to be a fantastic phone - so much so that I'm finding the Mate 9 VERY tempting… Huawei are making some really nice high end and mid range devices… REALLY nice
Kinda pricey dontcha think … it's not like Android isn't on a lot of other handsets.
Still using mate 7 bought in Dec 2014@HN,don't feel upgrading, great phone in everyway, when adelaide had blackout 2 month ago my phone still got plenty of battery power by that night, ppl with smaller battery phones had nothing to do in the dark
might upgrade when price of mate 9 comes down to sub $600
cheapest mate 7 deal locally was in march/16 for $429@ MSY,just over 1 year after its first release in OZThere seemed to be a general disappointment with this phone in the press because it was felt that this version should have more of the features from the ridiculously expensive Porsche version.
The reality for Huawei (and I love my Nexus 6P), LG and HTC is that they are not innovating well enough or fast enough to keep up with Samsung. If you look at the confirmed rumours for the Samsung Galaxy S8 you'll realise it's worth waiting a couple of months for that.
At least wait till Samsung fix all their battery issues. Total PR disaster.
Didn't stop them making record profits. The battery issue is behind them. The S8 looks like another game changer with 90% screen coverage on the face.
That is not the press that I read about this phone - this phone was generally regarded as the phablet to buy, especially after the Note 7 mess. AndroidAuthority, AndroidPolice and other sites all reviewed this phone very very favorably.
Need a great deal (minus the headphones) to pop up on the Mate 9 Pro!
Me too
I would prefer the reduction of$268 instead of the bonus
