Australian Grown Fresh Limes $2.90kg @ Woolworths

720

Saw limes at this unbelievably cheap price in Moonee Ponds Vic Woolworths and stocked up. Checked the Woolworths website when I got home and it seems to be Australia wide but couldn't find when the special ends as it's not in the current catalogue but they were near all this weeks other produce specials.

Margaritas here I come!

Seems to be only in VIC, bugger they also got cheap avocados last year. Online also underestimates the size of limes, today got 700g for $2.82 where in store would've been $4.13

    Mangos 99c but rather small
Corn's 75c was 50c last week but it's good corn.
Woolworths has a good price on bananas

Woolies have started buying produce from non Australian suppliers so I'm giving their stores a miss. Buy Australian if you can. Check those labels.

  • I would have appreciate it if it was available in Adelaide! Just bought some at $8 or so a kilo to make my mojitos….:D
