Wonder Smooth Wholegrain Back to School $3.80 Cashback Offer

430

Goodman Fielder is running a campaign where shoppers who purchase 1 x loaf of Wonder Wholegrain bread are rewarded with a $3.80 cash back (that's the price of the product so giving 100% discount).

The campaign is only 2 weeks long. Campaign live dates: 25 January – 8 February 2017

STORES: Woolworths, Coles, Foodworks, IGA and Other retailers

HOW TO CLAIM:

BUY: Purchase a loaf of specially-marked Wonder Smooth Wholegrain bread (“Eligible Product”) from a participating retailer during the Offer Period and keep your receipt. Eligible Products will contain a promotional sticker advertising this promotion. A participating retailer will be any retailer selling Eligible Products during the Offer Period.

REGISTER: Visit https://wonder.reward.zone/ during the Redemption Period and follow the prompts to register for the Offer. We will be working with our friends at Shopitize to make the Cashback process as easy as possible.

UPLOAD RECEIPT: After registration, you will be asked to confirm your contact details via email or SMS. Return to the website and upload your receipt by using the camera function on your smart phone, or scanning and selecting the file from your computer. Receipts must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Offer Period.

REDEEM: Once your receipt has been verified (this could take up to 48 hours) follow the prompts to provide your bank or PayPal details. If approved, the funds will be deposited into your account within 7 working days. The Promoter will cover the cost of bank transfer fees, but fees will apply for PayPal, and these will be deducted from the Cashback offer.

ENJOY & GOOD LUCK!

Is this for one loaf only, or is there a limit to the number of loaves? Not sure I'd bother for one loaf only…

    • Only one (1) claim is permitted per person.

  • Is Woolworths actually included as it states in your post?
    The website says-

    Step 2

Buy the product(s) in-store from any of these outlets below:

    Coles
    Foodland
    Foodworks
    IGA
    Other Independents

    • My mistake reject the Woolworths.

On the website it appears that Woolworths is now included?

    $3.80 Cashback Offer

Title should say up to $3.80 as they will deduct fees…

"fees will apply for PayPal, and these will be deducted from the Cashback offer."

    • You can get full $3.8 if you opt for cashback via bank transfer

  • +3

Sounds like a cheap way for them to collect your info and sell it to marketing companies.

    • I prefer Helga's breads anyway…

      • +1

        But free always taste better!

        • It's not free, you need to pay for it first.

@jv: Six of one. Half a dozen of the other. Evens out in the end, stop being so pedantic.

          @t25:

I just deal in the facts…

        • +1

@jv: The fact is, this is a 100% cashback offer. Which makes it free.

          Only after you pay

If it requires a payment, it's is not a freebie.

        • @jv: Based on your reasoning, ING claims of free ATMs in Australia would be invalid because you have to pay the ATM fee which is then rebated in full.

        • @t25:

free ATMs in Australia would be invalid

What would make it 'invalid' ?

I have not said this deal is 'invalid', all I said was that it should not be categorised as a 'freebie' as it requires an upfront payment.

        • @jv:

What would make it 'invalid' ?

Because in JV's little brain, having to pay for something and then being reimbursed is not "free".

        • @t25:

Better to have a little brain, than no brain.

Obviously if you have to pay for it, it's not a freebie…

That's correct, but you don't seem to understand the second part of being paid back. That becomes free.

Anyway, bought a loaf today, submitted claim, and supposedly I will see a bank deposit within 3-7 business days.

I know you get paid back, however, a 'freebie' on OzBargain does not require payment to receive it…

@jv: If you feel so against the post being marked as a freebie, go report the post to the mod as it "fails" to be a freebie in your eyes.

        • @t25:

          why?

  • am i the only one that finds the url a little suspicious?

I'm surprised this hasn't got more upvotes! My wife found this today and I was going to post myself. This bread is $2.50 at woolworths on sale this week, so you are making a clear profit. Even more if you use your egift cards and cashrewards.

I was going to post myself

I tried that but the stamps wouldn't stick.

  • I like this condition: "Receipt is flat without folds and wrinkles". Who doesn't fold their receipts?? I just rescued my receipt scrunched up from the bin!

    • Just a warning: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO IRON CRINKLED RECEIPT AS I JUST DID. You have been warned.

      • For $3.80 …… really?

  • +3

A good way to make some dough…

  • Eligible Products will contain a promotional sticker advertising this promotion.

Can't find any with a promotional sticker at my local Woolies.

Is it the "smooth wholemeal + iron" variety?

Does it matter if it doesn't have the sticker?

  • +1

Great deal, $3 at Coles for those without Woolworths close ($2.50 on special until Tuesday as previously mentioned).

  • Asked my partner to get a couple of loaves so that we could both do cashback. She came back with four loaves, two on each receipt and the wrong variety for the cashback :( I'm not popular in the first place for participating in all the ozbargain schemes and deals!

    • Rule 14: If the instructions are not understood, shout a bit louder.

  • +1

Easy as I purchased from woollies $2.50 did the claim two days later money in account $3.80 is $3.40 via PayPal .40c fee

  • Thanks dude, bought 2 for $2.50 and claimed cashback for both.

    • As long as they are on different receipts

      • Ye 😃

    Hi ccchips2036 (Rep),

T&C states that cash back can be redeemed until 22/02 if the product was bought within the offer period. However they've closed the redemption page, clicking on contact us doesn't populate any email address to send the email (just populates subject field for Outlook) and the email address provided "[email protected]" isn't receiving emails.

Do you happen to have any insights?

    Cheers!

I think you have till that date to claim the cash after you have put n a claim as you have to go through a few processes to receive it

      • +1

Well TnCs do not state that.
