Salted and unsalted are usually the same price. So the true OzBargainer would buy salted then REMOVE the salt to use elsewhere.

What!? wash your mouth out with soap! The price you pay for the salt in the cashews is way more than separate salt.
Actually it doesnt work for some reason. I accidentally bought unsalted and though I'd sprinkle salt as I usually eat salted cashews. The salt didn't stick and ended up on the bottom of the bag/container.
Try wetting them then sprinkling with salt (and chilli!). When they dry out it should stick better.
Why not wetting them with the salty water with chilli and dry. Just a thought..
If I buy unsalted nuts, I put them in a container that seals well, with salt. Shake it up before having a couple of nuts. Works okay.
I did not realise how many carbs are in Cashews. Yes, they're paleo, but they are very very carb heavy.

make sure you check your receipts, aldi actually charge everything when you use cards, eg, cc/eftpos, as long as you use cards they charge you fee.
Plus the surcharge on using CC and not to forget the long queues on their checkouts + 15c of shopping bags :)
I prefer the taste of Woolies cashews to those at Aldi.

I came on here just to mention this. I went running the last time it was on, 2 weeks ago & got two. Then I went to Aldi to get my nuts (pause) & saw cashews on there for under $10! I can't comment on quality just yet but I will soon!
