How'd you score them for $155/$145?
Bought them on eBay, as I've done with most of my drives in the past. Never had any problems.
Nice! Can you recommend the Seller ?
was about to ask whats so good about these?
but then realized they where 2.5's and USB powered.. id almost rather 2 aldi 500GBs a few days ago or the ones i posted
500GB $65+shipping
guess your paying a pretty big premium for size in that size/style
+1
Officeworks also has a WD Ess SE 750GB for $129.
Even better: they have an 880GB, 5-year-warranty, SmartWare-free Seagate for $126.
Wow $155 is really cheap, I got mine back on Feb or March? in OW after price match DSE for around $220, back then it was the cheapest.
Just wonder, do OW price match eBay or online stores like dealsdirect/catchoftheday? Don't think so do they?
Nah mate, OW will only match other stores and only if they have it in stock. They will never match eBay, even if its an eBay store and not just a random user.
this has been on dse.com.au for like the past month, bit slow mateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Officeworks now has the Seagate FreeAgent Go 2.5" USB2.0 880GB model for $126.
Not sure the extra 120GB is worth the extra $73.
great find!

Sure OW can price match but I don't think they give you the case.
I submitted similar deal for this a few weeks ago, the only difference being free shipping this time as opposed to $6.95 shipping back then. I thought back then that it was a good deal and i still do, but judging by some posts back then, some people didn't seem to think so.
That said, i got 2 of these myself and got one of them for $155, shipping included and $145 for the other, shipping included. Both came brand new and sealed in the box. Checked serial number on WD website and both checked out fine with full warranty intact.
