  • Good device. Had one which failed out of warranty, and FitBit replaced it for me. New one has been fine since.

    • Can also vouch, exact same thing happened to me. Very happy with mine

      • How did you guys claim warranty through fitbit? website, contact?

        • Yep just via their website. They replied fairly quick whole issue was sorted in a couple of days.

    • Me three, broke after a year. Tried all sorts of fixes from the forums non-worked. Contacted Fitbit and they replaced it after quite a bit of back and forth. Lets hope this one lasts a bit longer.

Don't forget Officeworks sell the Aria scale (Black and White) - So 5% price beat will apply Making the new price $113.33.

I own one and the scale is quite good and because it is WIFI it hooks into the well laid-out Fitbit Web Dashboard which offers Graphing of - Weight, BMI and Body vs fat mass.

The wifi set-up can be done on your mobile or home wifi easily.

  • Purchased one of these on the 4th of Jan. Still hasnt been shipped and have tried for a week to get hold of them. The phone number just keeps you on hold for hours and no one responds to the email on website. Finally got an answer using facebook. So will update once i get to use. But its put me off purchasing from domayne in the future

Good price but PICK UP IN STORE

  • Tanks OP, thought to buy it but then i read this:
    http://www.productreview.com.au/p/fitbit-aria.html

Very bad reviews, many users claim that the product stopped working after 12 months and is very inaccurate.

Have had mine for over 18 months and have not had a single issue. Very happy with them. The body fat percentage calculation is not very accurate on any scale and should be taken with a grain of salt, but for an 'average guess' it is rather good. Things like the amount of water you have consumed, whether you have been to the toilet etc impact it, but I don't think it is any worse than any other scales attempting to calculate using the same method.

    • Had mine for over three years now. I only use it to measure weight and don't bother with the body fat readings. It may not be accurate, but it's consistent for me. Just like the fitbit trackers really, in that they're not accurate but it gives you a baseline and something to work off of.

  • does this "require" a fitbit?

    • +1

No. But you'll need to sign up for an account to log all your measurements.

    • Your are buying into the Fitbit environment, The wrist devices + the scale work nicely on the Fitbit Web "Dashboard".

Withings is a similar combo to fitbit. Haven't tried it personally.

      • yeah, i realise that. thats why i asked, i used to have one but its not as feasible to wear as it used to be. ill have a look into it tho thx

I've had one of these for 2+ years now. Never had any issues… except for my own weight gain.

      same here buddy :(

  • Just a follow up. Recieved it on friday arvo, Simple to use and setup. Looks great and build quality seems very good. Getting a bit of fluctuation weighing in at same time every morning of 3kg either way. Maybe its how im standing on it but will see how it goes over the course of a couple of weeks. So far so good and well worth the price.
