Just FYI for anyone buying this, GB warranty stinks.

Had issues in the past with a much cheaper item, they just ignored me and got rid of me as I got tired of writing to them without getting any replies

    • Hi bti_jet,

Sorry for the inconvenience that has been caused.
Is there anything I can help you, pls PM me.
      Thank you for your understanding.

      Sunny

      • No, I just know for now to spend less than $10, same with aliexpress and never buying. As I have the mentally I'm buying with the risk of no warranty

  • That's good to know, I did wonder. I'm also looking at Huwaei P9 also which is from Aussie seller which might be better if there's a warranty issue.

  • 6GB ram .. more ram than my laptop

I have a Oneplus One, ordered it the day they went on sale in late 2014. Utterly brilliant phone; beautifully built, gets good signal (I have used it on both Optus and Telstra), and survives the odd drop without drama. I would recommend a Oneplus in a second.

    • +1

Me too. Until i dropped it the other day.

  • As above I have a Oneplus one. Brilliant phone. Had it for a few years now and still as good as the day I got it. Prefer it to the S6 I had purchased and then sold

This is the 3010, and not the 3003. Therefore it doesn't have band 28 on it, if it matters for you

    • +2

neither model has 28. 3010 actually has more bands but none are useful to you outside of china afaik

    • the 3003 has band 20 - not 28

  • Looking to buy this too. Anyone have any idea about the android-enjoyed website? They have it cheaper but haven't heard of the site much.

    • +1

I would stay away from that site personally.

    • I was considering buying from android-enjoyed but they don't have the best reviews.

I deiced to pay a little more and bought it from DWI (Flashed A3010) and I didn't have any issues (plus it was delivered in a week). I've also had them handle a warranty claim in the past so they seemed like the best choice.

      • +1 for DWI had a colleague whos purchased an OP3 from there with no issues whatsoever.

      • are you able to give an insight buying OP3t from DWI? i heard they install google play before they ship to you? does that mean the box is opened (not sealed) when it arrived?
Does it come with OZ plug dash charger?

        • +5

For the A3010 (Chinese Oneplus 3t) they flash Oxygen OS over the stock Hydrogen OS. Hydrogen OS is the operating system for the Chinese market and Oxygen OS is for the international market. This does mean they open the box, but as I said I had no problems with this or with my phone after receiving it, they also did the same for my original Oneplus One.

It comes with a US dash plug and an AU adapter. If you want an Australia plug that works with Dash charging your only real option is the VOOC chargers (there is no AU Dash brick). VOOC and Dash charging seem to be the same tech. I purchased both of these and Dash charging works perfectly with both http://tinyurl.com/zdubv97 and http://tinyurl.com/hbsrtkj.

As for the dash cable, I purchased two cables on eBay and none of them worked, there is a physical difference in the connectors between the original Dash cable and the counterfeit eBay cables. As Dash charging will only work when the charger, cable and device all have the Dash/VOOC Tech. The phone will still charge if you are missing the Dash brick or Dash cable, it just won't Dash charge. So I'm still on the hunt for a cheapish Dash cable.

@Annoying Source: thx mate, really useful info. I've been looking for someone who had the exact experience of buying OP3T from DWI, not many.

  • These are currently the prices I was able to pull with cashback deals at the moment. Did I miss anything/mess up any numbers there?

    Geekbuying - $604.77 + cashback = $585.42AUD
    Gearbest - $596.70 + cashback = $582.38AUD
    DWI - $619.00 + coupon (3SCHOOL2017) = $600.43 + cashback = $593.22AUD

Happy to see what else people find. I'm also looking to grab this phone. Looking to upgrade the Nexus 6p, the battery has gone to garbage.

    • For under 600 I'd say the Oneplus 3T is a killer for performance and value.

Only gripe is the lack of SD slot, but 64GB internal should be enough for most.

    • thanks for the info. Wheres the T&Cs on the cashback?

      Your 3t battery dead?

      • Apologies I meant cashrewards.

    • Can't decide between the P9 and the 1+3T. Pretty much the same price for both of them.

      • +1

I went with 3T, for the fact it has a snapdragon 821 and more options for customized roms.

The P9 has a custom Kirin(?) processor and would be much harder to find custom roms etc.

Calling a 5.5" screened phone a phablet is laughable.

    • +1

      Not really.

5.5" is massive for a phone.

    • +1

The first mainstream phablet was the Galaxy Note 1, which was 5.3".

  • AU$708.50

idk why someone else hasn't said anything but the price is $708 AUD not $596

  • Sorry, when is the flash sale? It's coming up as $708 AUD for me.

  • Showing up $708 to me, am I missing something??

  • When I log into the site is says the OnePlus 3T is 708, once I click on it though. I get 596.70 (Email only price) You must have to be on there email list.

  • With the price and spec of Xiaomi 5s Plus 128GB, this is a good comparable option with Oneplus 3T

  • +1

My oneplus one is on the way out, can't hold a charge anymore. I've had it since 2014 and am looking at the 3T, what is the difference between this version and the one direct from oneplus?

    • IIRC, OnePlus still doesn't ship to Australia?
Need to buy from a reseller or using a forwarding service.

    • had the same issue, phone was great the battery is not as amazing.

  • android-enjoyed - $570AUD ~ $590 delivered
