  • Great deal, amazing cruise line too can personally vouch having cruised previously with them.
I've seen this deal on a few emails from travel agents I've booked with so I think it's widely available

  • Doesn't seem like that great a deal

  • Tonnage: 30,277, looks like a small ship

  • Not a deal at all as https://www.cruiseaway.com.au/cruise/footsteps-of-abel-tasma… has $2298, yes a little bit more expensive but if they set up a group booking {like crazycruises have} knowing they will sell the numbers the price would be exactly the same. A cruise deal would have to be 50% + to be a deal. Azamara a Luxury cruise line, nothing like carnival or P&O "Excite" they totally different experience, with high staff to passenger ratio and food second to none etc etc and small ships can be a lot more fun.

Cruise bargains a bit rarer now {i have done 17 days for $500 4 years ago}, but still out there just not as good as the cruise industry changed a lot in Australia over the last 4 years or so. Good post but not a bargain.

    • But they haven't set up the numbers and their price is higher. The fact that they could do it is immaterial. They haven't. Even if they matched the price, $200 pp pn on azamara is a good deal. It's like comparing tiger air with Singapore airlines. It is rare to find this cruise line much under $300 pp on. You can only base whether something is a bargain based on current conditions, not what you got once years ago.

    • Thanks Mick

Where do you go to find the best cruise deals?

      Thanks :-)

    • Do you mean $2998?

Also the crazy cruise says complimentary beer, spirits and wine whereas cruiseaway only wine?

      (..and other inclusions…)

  • Seems to be the same price in most places - for example here is the place I use:
    http://www.eseacruising.com.au/cruisefinder/view/cruise/5336…

Of course that tends to be common in Australia with usually only one wholesaler for each cruise line.
Anyway, this is a good deal for Azamara, but you would expect that with the close sailing date.

    • And not even complimentary wine with eseacruising?

Boy, if I was to book a cruise I would be taking heaps of screenshots of the stated inclusions.

      • Azamara includes drinks and gratuities with every cruise. It's like taking screen shots to prove that RCI, p&o or celebrity include main dining room and buffet food. It is included with every fare on every cruise, regardless of cabin category. Along with self serve laundry. There are one or more shore excursions included with the cruise. I haven't drilled down that far. I think you get a choice per voyage. Much like some ships issue tickets for shows. You need to select the one(s) you want. Suites get to eat at specialty restaurants at no extra cost and they may have other benefits but every single passenger of drinking age will get included drinks on azamara and every guest gets included gratuities. There us no reason yo stress on the drinks and gratuities. On RCI, you'd pay over $100 AUD pp pn for those inclusions.

  • Yes it's a great deal. Here's a better one further out.

$3100 fior 18 nights. And you avoid the South Pacific. Hallelujah (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y8AWFf7EAc4). I'm sick of the South Pacific.

A better deal pn.with more lead time. Don't forget you pay no gratuities or drinks. Plus there are other inclusions.
