I've got a dream sub, and I'm very happy with it…(but I'm no audiophile…..)
I've got a dream set up, 7.1 and am very happy with it, if you google them there are a few tweaks you can do to make them fairly good speakers, but as i'm no audiophile either, im happy with them the way they are… id rather spend cash on a good amp to drive them.. seems to make a bit of difference.
mate, where did u see the tweaks, any links?
Also re. the amp, atm I got a yamaha RX-V557 to drive my 5.1 Dream speakers (X900) with a 15 inch sub. what setup do u have? Do you think my amp is enough to drive these babies? :)
@homersyd: really not an audiophile, i just have a zensonic(extremely cheap as far as amps go), ill be buying a new decent HDMI (1.4) amp after they come down in price and are ready availible.
so i dont have anything great driving mine, but as i said still happy with the noise they put out.
whirlpool has quite a bit of info on them. (tweaks such as phases hooked up wrong and sound deadener in the boxes.)
I can have a search though whirlpool but would just be googling it.
think i got the k8's or k9's from memory, then also bought some side firing speakers with a 12" sub.
at least one person just bought this according to the website.
Has anyone seen any reviews on it? The american sony doesn't sell these models.
