Nice. I've been using BRITA Optimax for a few years now. 8.5l is handy for large family.
Do you keep that in the fridge or outside? How do you refill it? Do you use another pitcher to transfer the water in, or do you lift the bulky 8.5L unit to the tap?
I leave it outside on the kitchen bench. If i really want cold water i just get some ice :).
I normally lift the whole thing to the kitchen sink then fill it up. Its not that bulky or heavy flex. My missus sometimes uses the kettle to transfer the water in.
@akatsuki: Is your ice created from filtered water also?
8.5L is a bit cumbersome for transporting around. Even if you're strong enough. It wasn't built for frequent moving around.
That's 2.5 years worth of filters.
