What is the Graphene earphones?
Earphones using graphene offer superb frequency response. The reason for this is down to the graphene diaphragm’s simplicity: Most diaphragms/cones must be dampened to prevent undesirable frequency responses, graphene requires no dampening. This is because graphene is so strong that the diaphragm can be incredibly thin — and thus very light. Instead of being artificially dampened, the graphene diaphragm is dampened by the air itself. Graphene is also very energy efficient which leads to reduced power consumption.

Features:
1. 3.5mm, 24k Gold-plated audio jack.

  1. Prevents oxidation of the contact surface and enhances the conductivity for a richer and purer sound.

  2. Aviation-grade aluminum.

  3. Aviation-grade aluminum is diamond cut then carved by CNC.

  4. In order to make the appearance of the back cavity more exquisite, we used a Radial pattern processing and finished it off with oxidized sandblasting.

  • Is this the BlitzWolf Piston 3 equivalent?

  • $10.99 instead of $9.99, saving of -$1.00.

    ?????

    • The $9.99 USD price was for the first 100 units pre-ordered, the price will go up again once 300 units have been sold, before increasing once more when the items are stocked on January 19.

      • Isn't much of a bargain if they can happily sell them for $9.99, though are now charging $10.99. They're getting an extra US$1 in pure profits and still calling it a bargain?

It's an announcement of their presale - no real bargain here.

Don't get me wrong, quite excited about these… But the item it's self being well priced doesn't make it a bargain (or at least not to OzBargain standards). As an example, Xiaomi earbuds easily compete with $70+ earphones, but that doesn't mean it's a bargain when you get them for the ~$30 retail price.

These look interesting, but I think I'll wait to see a couple of reviews first.
