At what point does SSD speed make no difference in normal use? The intel 600p is fast for me.

Just looked at SE boxing day deals. Those RRPs are way inflated. The 960 EVO's RRP is listed as $449 which is bull. Its RRP is $349, and CPL has it at $319 right now, not limited in qty.
They have a 200GB Sandisk Ultra MicroSD for $99 with RRP at $499. ROFL.

960 Pro has a 5 year warranty, and is a bit faster.My advice would be to go for the $319 960 Evo unless you know why you need the 960 Pro.
The difference in speed will be imperceptible. The difference in price isn't. The EVO is better value and will be more popular, as was the case with the 850.
Samsung SSDs have a reliable track record. In 5 years if the Pro dies, you're going to want a 990 (or 1010 if they go up by 10 every year) 2TB-3TB which might be around the same price. 500GB will be considered too small by then if you're a gamer. I'm already pushing the boundry with 500GB, though I can still make it work.
Not knowing much about SSDs, what is a good price for a 256gb M.2? Or even a 128GB?

I'm tempted to just pull the trigger, even though the rational side of me says the EVO is better value and can be obtained locally. ARGH.
