I believe this is the cheapest this model has been listed on here for. Most of the other sales were around $3,900.
I have been looking for a 75 inch TV for months and I can't find anything comparable to this for under $4,500
I don't think we will see that Costco pricing for any boxing day sales. I've seen the hisense and the Sony side by side and I'd prefer to pay a bit more for the Sony.
Greater Brightness on the Sony?
Sony has nicer blacks and the hisense almost felt slightly blurrier in comparison. Rep at JB Hi-Fi said I wasn't the first to say it either.

JB Hifi deal seems decent. Wondering if I should order it online or head into a store. I've never had much luck with their online store in the past (sloooow at processing/delivering orders)
I bought mine from JB a few months ago. Ordered online Thursday night and was delivered on Saturday.
Other orders for small items have been slow though. This was the first big item.
You could buy 4 of the 55" ones, 5 raspberry pi's and build yourself a video wall. Not only would you have $2000 left over but you'd have a bigger screen and an awesome feature piece.

Preferable for some as it means you don't need a new TV cabinet to fit the width of the new TV.
$2100 for the non 4k 75" model last boxing day from Bing Lee was a steal, haven't seen anything comparable for the past 12 months.
That's right. 2016 hasn't really offered any great deals on 75 inch TV. I still think that sub $4,000 there's not really anything better than this and I do need something asap as my old TV isn't currently working.
