"We cannot ship this item to a PO Box or parcel locker" :-(

    • +6

      Bummer.

This Item is a HAZMAT item.
We cannot ship this overseas or to some very remote locations in Australia.
We cannot ship this item to a PO Box or parcel locker it must be delivered to a residential or business address.

Will have to get it delivered to work then, which leads to the opportunity to coat someone's stapler, mouse, keyboard, pen holder with a pen inside and anything else I can get my mischievous hands on. Whoever is on holidays over Christmas can look forward to this secret Santa gift of a new stationary set upon their return.

        Companies that do what?

We CANNOT ship these items overseas there is a lot of legal and transport requirements for shipping HAZMAT internationally!

Domestically they can not go by Australia post as they are Dangerous goods. We must use a HAZMAT licenced courier, these guys have a lot of trouble fitting a package into a locked PO BOX.

        Regards Caswell Australia

        • -1

Companies that use couriers that will not deliver to PO Boxes.

I said or insinuated nothing about international, nor did I reply to a comment suggesting it.

I also never said or insinuated anything about shipping VIA Australia Post, I suggested that I would not buy from companies that will not ship to a PO Box.

If you choose to make use of businesses who refuse to supply a service customers want then I choose not to make use of your company, it's that simple.

Whatever my circumstances that require that I use a PO Box (and there are several) you choose to not deliver then I don't buy your products. If you're satisfied with the level of business you have and don't feel the need to discuss limiting your trade (however big or small) with your service providers because of their refusal to deliver to Australia Post addresses despite offering no comparable service then best of luck to you.

Do you offer delivery to PO Boxes on non hazmat purchases?

        • @unique452: yes for non HAZMAT items we can ship to a PO BOX via Australia post. Our point is some times there are legal reasons why companies have to use couriers.
Our preference shipping method is via our courier they have never lost a delivery Australia Post was loosing one a week.

Better off buying armor all custom shield

      • +4

Don't know why anyone downvoted you… Armor All Custom Shield and Plastidip are made by the exact same manufacturer.

        • +1

They also smell the same go on the same have the same nozzle and a slightly larger can.

      • I just found Custom Shield at Super Cheap Auto for $10, do you know if this is the usual price?

    • +1

Black is $20 it only has 20% off when you add the black to the colour selection the price adjust to reflect the advertised 20% off.

  • +2

Great deal but not exactly the most popular colours though.

    • It's the "blaze" range which is hi viz type colours.

      • wot

  • They hit me up for $25in freight. Too much for a bit of fun. :(. Probably classed as regional.

    • We are sorry about that yes if it came in at $25 your address would have been classed as regional by our couriers. All addresses have the postage directly calculated using the couriers calculations. Unfortunately we are limited with what couriers will ship HAZMAT items i.e. flammable aerosol cans to residential locations.

Don't forget to give it speed holes first.

    • +7

Buy red plastidip. Red makes cars go faster.

      • +1

If i've got a red Ferrari, does using red plastidip make it twice as fast?

        • -1

not if you plastidip the doors (meaning you cant get in to drive it faster)

        • +1

Yes, if you do a double coat on your tyres

        • Holy shit…take it to the salt lakes after you plasti-dip

      • faster to hell!

    • stickers for extra kw!

    • +2

      Dont forget the chevy badges

  • 'Easy to remove if unwanted'. From what I've heard elsewhere, I'm not so sure about that.

    • +1

If anything it's too easy to remove. Once it's scratched it will start coming off.

    • From experience the best way to remove plasti dip (especially on rims) is to spray on some cheap degreaser that you can get from Supercheap Auto. After spraying that stuff on it comes off with a high pressure hose real easy. :)

  • I only seem to be able to choose one colour for multiple qty

    • +1

If you add the item to your cart you can go back to the item and select a 2nd colour. We have lots of orders where people have done this. If you cant simply order x number of cans and send us a message of what blaze colours you would like and we can fix it up for you.

      Regards Caswell Australia

  • $20 shipping to ACT. Pretty high.

  • Black/Red/White are coming up as $20 for me at the moment - people above say it should be $15.

I'm trying to buy it from
    http://www.caswellplating.com.au/store/store.php/products/pl…

How soon will it be dispatched? Will it arrive to a Sydney metro business address by Friday?

    • Only the Blaze colours are at $5 (80% off) , The Black Red and White only have 20% off making them ($20), The clear and remaining camo stock are $15 (40% off).

All orders placed this weekend will be packed and dispatched on Monday, our usual courier deliver times to Sydney Metro are 1 or 2 days, there is no reason they should not be there by Friday.

      Regards Caswell Australia.

      • Thanks for the clarification.

Not sure why someone neg'd my comment - the info at the top says black/white/red are $15 (which they aren't) and it's clear that the seller was responding to questions.

        • +2

Regarding the neg of the comment I have no idea. To be honest we didn't know this site existed until our orders inbox started going crazy so we logged in and had a look. As an agent I'm not 100% sure of what the bounds of my posting is, I know I can reply if I identify as from Caswell, and not vote on the listing, but I'm not sure about the posts. Your post is highly valid and does clear up some confusion.

          Regards

        • @CaswellAustralia:

Hi I'm asking the same question as below, can I ask my Sydney friend to pick up my order for me? cheers.

        • +2

@Maxii: Of course you can ask your Sydney friend to pick it up for you, they might be a little hesitant to do it though as our warehouse is in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria.

          Regards
          Caswell Australia

    • Hi Pete, from what I could tell at the time of posting the black/white/red were $15. When checking again that clearly isn't the case so thankyou for clearing this up. It said sale price $15.00 for everything except blaze but it seems like there is an extra $5 when choosing either of those 3, sorry for the confusion.

  • no white :(

    edit : nevermind, they're going for $20

  • can i organise and pay for pickup but have a friend pick it up for me?

    • Yes you can order and pay online to lock in the items and price. On checkout for Victorian customers there is a pickup option with no postage charge. You will just need to call us during business hours to arrange pickup from out Hoppers Crossing warehouse. 0427708090

  • if i cover up key parts on a phone and spray it, will this work well as a case?

    • If you start using the phone straight away, it's not durable enough and will wear off. Leaving it to cure for some time (days/weeks) might help
