      really? Last I read their business was a flop and they owed a lot of money due to a lawsuit, but nothing about Blackphone 2 encryption getting #Pwned, it was the first gen one that was defeated by an SMS glitch.

    they're both pretty average phones. the oukitel has a small battery for today's standards, so i would immediately rule out buying that. The blackphone is alright but it probably isn't suited to a normal phone user. there are many other options that i would consider.

  I have this phone, my uncle gave it to me after he bought it overseas and didn't really like it. The phone is pretty 'meh'. You will need to subscribe to the Silent Circle services in order to have your phone calls/SMS encrypted. Otherwise it is a fairly standard Android phone, although the Silent OS does get updated quite regularly and it doesn't have many bloatware so it is as close to stock Android as you can get. Battery is not the best, no NFC or fingerprint sensor, bluetooth seems unstable as every time the OS updates, my car seems to forget the phone so I'd have to pair it again. Only one speaker at the back so forget about playing music with decent quality sound. Overall, I would get another phone like a Sony or HTC.

  I bought this blackphone 2. It came,not working with SIM. Email blackphone support,gave them the IMEI. They informed me that it's a fake phone.The 15 day refund is a joke. Don't ever buy from Coolicool,its a cheap Chinese company, no service.
