I picked up a Powerwave Retro Wii gamepad for $3 at Clive Peeters (Moorabbin store, VIC) today. Was reduced from $29 …

They're having a massive stock clearance with heaps of stuff on sale (mostly computers/laptops, portable hardrives, cameras (still and video), software and GSP units).

Many items were advertised at 50% off or more. I guess you'd have to check your local store to see what they have.

Doesn't seem to be advertised widely so you might still get some good stuff before the vultures descend - hey wait, that's us OzBargaineers, right ;)

    Isn't Clive Peeters in receivership?

    I am pretty sure they are - perhaps the receivers are clearing the decks in case the whole thing collapses. Make sure your warranty comes from the manufacturer!!

      Yup. Harvey Norman's buying a few stores, but still some closing down. Deals to be had, I imagine.

    Went to the Dandenong store. They do have a sale on but nothing worth a mention. Mostly in the PC section and only on Laptops and other hi price items. The tag price on the laptops where not there real price. Laptop prices where about 25% of if you asked the help for a price. I asked about some other items in the store (iPod speakers, Logitech KB) and they did not have a discount price.

    Massive deals on everything IT. I just spent $140 today and the original selling price was over $300.

    I saw cameras for around $300 save between $600 - $1000. I saw an 18" (dual core) laptop for $900 save $1800. Heaps of massive deals. Printers at 1/3 of original price. Some bugger cleaned out 3 stores worth of ink for the printer that I have because they were close to half price. Batteries less than half price as are camera cases, speakers, internet routers etc etc etc.
