    I few Qatar to Europe from Adelaide in September and can highly recommend the flight. As comfortable as economy class can be. Load factor looked to be high on the way out (I was even asked if I needed to fly that day, they were bumping people), but on the way back there were quite a few empty seats. Some rows had three empty seats.

    I hope Qatar keeps flying to Adelaide as we lost AirAsiaX a few years ago.

  Great deal, but for this one I am glad I am in Sydney :)
  Seriously the train's quiet carriage and Air Asia X quiet zone are a godsend for any longer trips.

  Fantastic deal! The promo works in many other countries as well so If you're in SYD/MLB and don't mind the extra stopover in Doha, you can also book eg KUL/SIN-Europe or DPS-Europe return (and then combine with a cheap AA/Scoot/Jetstar flight). I haven't been able to check a multi-stop (eg DPS-Europe-SYD) since the Qatar site doesn't seem to let you choose your booking class for multi-city trips (and you need to select Saver or up, the cheapest is often Promo).

  I can't believe this deal has only 17 upvotes. For me, it's the deal of the year! In terms of savings, it's probably the best bargain on this site I've ever used!

      I'm in Sydney, don't mind the extra 2 hours to Adelaide so much (considering the $2k saving). If you book that leg on QF points, you can even check through your luggage. On the way back I get off in KL and will add KUL-SYD later.
