Seems like a pretty good deal - in the latest JB Hi Fi catalogue.

Yep, much cheaper at the good guys. Also it's the same price at officeworks so take 5% off this price and its still not the cheapest price.
TRS
along with 28 degrees price protection for when the price inevitably drops after the release of the s8 :D
Same reason for a negative vote.
Poor price on the regular S7. Can get an S7 Aus stock for high $700s everyday even without any offer, eg Mobileciti $798. The Edge is cheaper at TGG as mentioned, although the Edge pricing isn't too bad that offer aside.
Agreed, that price is not a bargain at all. I bought mine S7 for $755 from Mobileciti just over a month ago. Come Optus branded but very easy to flash to stock Samsung firmware.
Not sure why everyone is negging this one. I bought an S7 from Harvey Norman today using my Amex. Asked them to price it at $900. Used 3 Amex's which had the 'spend $300 get $100 statement credit' promo. Brought the true cost of the phone down to $600. Then to claim $81 back on TRS. $519 all up for an S7. Very Happy indeed!
Negging because it is not the cheapest price available.
Being able to use your 3 Amex's or use TRS has nothing to do with the true price of the phone. Many of us do not have Amex and are not going overseas.
Bad posting (without checking cheaper alternative), surely this post breach ozbargain posting guideline.
