Hi Loki,
Shipping fee does apply. Yup, You can place order online and choose "pick up" in the shipping option.
We have a showroom at bayswater, Melbourne for pickup option.
Do we get a ready confirmation for the order?
Or do we just head into the showroom with the order confirmation?
Hi,
Yup, just come to our showroom during our business hours and show us your order confirmation.
Ok, I bit. I live on a river that's 3km wide so hopefully it's suitable for looking around it. Shipping was reasonable.
Can you attach an accessory to mount a camera onto this telescope?
Hi,
This telescope is not suitable to use for taking photo.
OP can you do the $20 off for this one :)

How do you find planets using this?
Haven't used one this big myself but from what I have heard a good pair of binos are better than most low cost telescopes :)
Btw for any one that's interested just bought a pair of Celestron SkyMaster Giant 15x70 Binos from Amazon for around $90 using the $10 voucher from a week or so back.

Around $70-80 USD shipped atm.
An app called SkySafari
Can you attach a camera for this lens..? Was thinking of taking some moon photos with my dslr
Hi,
This telescope is not suitable to use for taking photo.
For those asking about attaching a camera to this. I know nothing about it, but looking through the Photography accessories page I found this ($84.95)
http://www.ozscopes.com.au/camera-adapter-variable-eyepiece-…
Saxon 1.25" Variable Projection Camera Adapter
- For use with telescopes with 1.25-inch eyepieces
- Ideal for lunar and planetary photography
- Crafted from machined aluminum and brass
- Sliding mechanism allows variable projection distances
- Separable, thread-in unit allows for prime-focus photography
- For use with a T-Ring (sold separately) with 35mm cameras
Use with a T-Ring (ordered separately), for your brand of 35mm camera body (they seem to be about $25-30).
So you're probably better off looking for a telescope that comes setup ready for a camera, maybe just needing an adaptor for your brand camera.
Also XMAS16 seems to take $10 off for orders over $120 for other items (don't stack btw).
Note the tripod is only max height of 119cm.
Rightyo, now that I have it - this really is only any good for getting a better look at the moon. Anything else is 'that white speck in the sky' made a slightly larger white speck. Because it's manual adjust and cheap, you have to have the adjustments done up fairly firm for it to stay at the place you want it, but that then makes it hard to make minor adjustments without losing what you're looking at.
Also you're either bent double, or kneeling on the ground because the tripod is low. You could possibly sit on a stool.
As an introductory product to astronomy - it's pretty much a waste of time. I reckon it would put more people off than encourage them.
Is this with shipping and can it Ben picked up in store - do you have physical stores?
