  Hi, the back is just a plain flat panel, it doesnt need to stand against a wall, its a stand alone unit. It does have provision for anchoring to a wall if required though.

  How weather resistant are these? They look like the doors would let water in of the rain was coming from the direction these faced?
  Are they UV treated?

  This would be good for the area and space I have, but it's the weather side and gets full sun.

  Hi, these are probably the most weather resistant product of their type on the market. There is a rubber seal that goes around the outside of each door and they are totally UV resistant. They wont "rust, dent or fade" as Keter says.
  We recommend them for outside use.
