I have a bit confuse about this model, not sure it's x34A or x34 normal.
X34A model isn't even currently sold in Australia so it's the original X34.
It's different.The x34 can be overlocked to 100hz but unfortunatley some people have not been able to do it, and x34A is the revision can easy and stable be overlocked to 100hz.
The X34 is a 60Hz panel. OC to 95Hz, 100Hz if you're lucky
100Hz Native panels will be out next year (X34P)

its apparently they are releaseing a new model all together next year hence why it was cheaper earlier 1499 as itr was due this year

Oh man I paid $60 extra on eBay two days ago. Gonna see if they're willing to price match since they haven't sent it yet.

The title makes it look like it's a PC Case Gear brand which it's not, it's a rookie mistake. It's the Acer Predator X34 monitor which PC Case Gear sells. The title should be some thing like Acer Predator X34 34" IPS monitor $1299 @ PC Case Gear.
