    This part of the thread will now be unpublished as there were personal attacks made as well as getting off topic.

    In short, it seems some people are saying that:
    - Verbatim do not make the hard drives that are inside the verbatim cases
    - Verbatim may source their drives from Samsung
    - Verbatim could then be compared to Samsung

    While others are saying that:
    - Verbatim will protect their name and only source from Samsung where there are good Samsung drives

    There is disagreement over how much Verbatim values good will in it's branding.
