    • Thanks and its fixed

  • They've had them this price for a while. Radar mentioned them in the comments here http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/25162 in early May.

I bought 3 of them. I have them set up in AP bridge mode. They work okay for the price.

what is the transfer rate? MB/s?

      • yeah, I'm interested in the throughput too, in bridge mode.

  • 150Mbps N is plenty good

  • although i like 9289, id say the bing lee netgear deal is better

    • Why is that? im guessing if you are looking for wireless N(even thou light) this isnt a bad option. I just wonder how it performs in wireless transfers.

      • i have the linksys 120n, and it meets the draft n standard (isnt certified), anyway it gets ripped into on all the reviews as the speeds are no where near n standard. i would assume this is just the same

        • Does that have heating problem's my linksys linksys 310n had so many over heating problems.

          • @aacheney: hasnt been an issue. tip: turn the router upside down. all the vents are on the bottom and hot air rises

      • Got a pair of these and when configured in 40Mhz (not 20Mhz) 1 AP, 1 AP Client. Win 7 pulled a file off Win XP box at approximately 9MB/s (win 7 dialogue). This is with both machines connected with Ethernet. The LAN graph in Task Manager showed around 80% of the 100Mbit connection in use.

same test with two XP boxes was only 50% ??? not sure why.

  • Sorry, is this a wireless modem router?

    • yes it is. its a wireless N lite. which means its 150 not 300

Sorry my bad. its not a modem router. its just a wireless router

    • it is not a modem as such you plug with into you modem. It has a WAN port
