  • Website says:

    SPECIFICATIONS:

    Power: 220-240V 50Hz

    Watts: 220W

Where does the 350W in the OP come from??

    • I've just checked the back of my EziBullet and the correct wattage is 220W, the website is correct, I will request the adjustment to the post.

      Thanks for pointing that out.

  • Just FYI, this is just the same Target/Aldi whatever blender that they sell. Target is $30, Aldi is $24.95 I think when they have it, its quite common.

I have one myself, build quality is average but good enough.

  • Why can't these throw offs come up with an original name and not try and connect with other processors

I like the idea of competition with things like Nutri Bullet but it's just playing on a name in an attempt to drive business through another companies reputation

    • +2

These types of "bullet" blenders have been around for a long time before Nutri Bullet came out.

      • What? The actual brand name or the type of blender?

        • +2

Both. The only thing Nutri Bullet brought along was a high quality motor/blades/whatever and added "Nutri" to the front.

The term Bullet Blender has been around for well before then.

        • @Spectator:

Interesting but not surprising. Shows what mass advertising does!!! So basically Nutri Bullet have taken part of their name and thrown a mass of advertising out there and kind of become the 'figurehead' amongst these types of juicers!!….and as a result managed to bump up their prices accordingly!

          Thanks for posting this

        • @slipperypete: Not really. General price for these cheaper ones were $50 back when I bought it so it's stayed around the same price.

And I wasn't saying anything bad about Nutri Bullet, it is a higher quality product, hence the increased price. (Just like anything)

        • @Spectator:
Was more talking about how Nutri Bullet bump up prices…
Since these machines have become more popular there has been more competition and NB are now consequently available at more places and cheaper prices. Yep they may be a better machine but the premium they charged until the last year or so didn't reflect the extra quality.

  • there's a smoothie maker @ Aldi this week for $24.99

    https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-wed-23-…

  • Perfect timing, was looking for this type of blender for smoothies and to chop up veg for salsas etc. Thanks OP
