    • My credit card only do the price guarantee insurance for products valued over $75, and under $300.

Just read the PDS and it will say what's eligible.

      • Yep, each card is different. My Citi Signature card only covers differences greater than $75 and capped at $500.

        • Look through Coles account plus PDS and it doesn't state the min value and about games being excluded.
Just need price difference of $10 or more.
So I'll grab it tomorrow so I don't have to rush on Friday for stock :)

        • @lufee: yes i have done this before, the previous target xbox for $329. as long as the difference is $10 or more. sucks coz i just bought doom @ $27 at the start of the month, havent even played it and now its $18… cant claim coz short of a dollar :(

  • The Target's in my area have a very poor range and quantity of games in my experiences but I popped in this morning and it looks like they've stocked up on quite a few of the games listed, more specifically Titanfall 2, BF1 and IW so hopefully there won't be too many issues picking up a couple of games @8am Friday morning.

    • Good to know. My local Target had bugger all the other day except for CoD. Will have to go check them out before Friday see if they've stocked up.

  • +1

One EB said price match is fine, the other said no way. nice inconsistency..

    • Damn! I hope Target have stock then..

  • +1

Just price matched bf1 in Perth today. Didn't bother looking at the dates and also only charged me 50 and litreally said “don't worry about the $2 I'll just chuck in a $2 coin from somewhere''. Haha pays to be friendly and good mates with the workers there

  • Total total noob question, but does anyone here have any suggestions for flight combat or flight simulator type games for the PS4?

    • +3

Hey man, sorry but there aren't many games that focus on flight simulation specifically on ps4, closest you could get to '' simulation'' would be either no man's sky or air conflicts Pacific or battlefield games (in the air flight vehicles) . Your best bet would be to purchase flight simulators for Windows on steam or g2a. They would be cheaper and more realistic.

      • Thanks! Yeah, have always done F.S on the PC or MAC (X Plane). Looks like the new Ace Combat on the PS4 would be great, but no release date yet. War Thunder (for free in the PS store) looks good (not great) too.

  • Sorry if this has been asked but will this be online as well? I don't fancy a Friday free-for-all with people buying 20 copies of Titanfall 2 to offload on ebay.

    • +2

Yes, it will be online as well - most likely starting at midnight Friday.

The base price is too high to make a decent turnover. After shipping, Paypal and ebay fees, it's not worth the time and effort just to make single-digit profits from each copy sold.
The best way for scalpers to profit from this is to "buy low and sell high" and TitanFall isn't the one suited for this.

  • +1

Just went to have a look at the target catalogue online and it would seem the pages of specials havent been included put into it. I've reached out to Target on their FB Page to see if they know whats going on.

    • That is interesting. Weird they excluded it from the online catalogue. I recieved the catalogue in the mail and it has the exact same picture as the one provided above.

  • +4

Online Catalogue will be uploaded Tomorrow to show the games sale as the sale starts on Friday not Thursday they release the catalogue one day before.

  • Please let it be online as well, getting into target Friday is impossible for me

    • Yeah I'm hoping for Online as well. Called into my next local Target today. Never heard of the 4 day game sale and their total XB1 games is tiny. They had about 4-5 copies of a few of the sale games. Zero copies of Titalfall 2.

      • +2

Lucky big w is matching them, I got one just up the road from me woot

BigW will have similar/slightly better prices.

  • Anyone know if Madden 17 is included in at all? Seems it's rarely price reduced.

  • Anyone know if overwatch or wwe 2k17 are on special?

    • Overwatch is $55 on the PlayStation Store at the moment

  • +4

In target just before, asked the guy if he could run Titanfall through at this price a bit early, guy did it no problem and said he'd already done it for someone a couple days ago.

Could have just been a great dude, but likely that you can run in and grab these suckers a couple days early at any target, just a heads up for you guys :)

  • +3

Get in quick online. Pricing will be live just after midnight on Thursday night. If you buy online Target is cheaper than Big W as they charge for delivery. Spend $59 online and Target will deliver free!

    • Will stock be updated online as well? For instance, Fallout 4 for PS4 is out of stock online.

  • Are stores getting in stock for this? The few Targets I have been to have a miniscule range consisting of mainly The Crew or Tearaway.

    • Larger stores should have been receiving stock over the last few weeks for all the new releases. As far as I know there won't be a large shipment of games this week for the sale but it sounds like the stores in your area aren't that big on gaming. Either that, or they're holding the stock until Friday.

  • I can tell my hardcore gaming days are over when all I see is money better spent for pork rolls dominos and kebabs haha lol

I think I need to find a new hobby :(

  • Target why???

You don't stock Lego dimensions starter packs for xb1. Your not out of stock because you have a page dedicated to Lego dimensions - no xb1 to be found.

Also am I confused on how marketing a sale works - no catalogue to be seen, staff members never heard of the sale, low low stock, no advertisements - maybe this is some type of Christmas fools joke ?

    • Got the catalogue in the mail last night. Still not on the website though.

      • Called in to 2 target stores this morning. Turns out one of the stores had Lego Dimensions for XB1 & great stock levels of most games. Only 1 staff member knew about tomorrow's sale and she has no catalogues.

      • Any deals that haven't already been mentioned?

        • No. Women who ran entertainment section just said it was there best sale in gaming they have had. I will be there at 8.00am and updating OzBargain, plan on scanning everything I can see

    • -5

Most likely why 2016 will be the last year alot of target stores see a gaming department

      • you know this for fact do you?

        • -7

Considering employees have said it, yea. you mad youre going to have to go work at the registers or something?

    • 2 out of 3 of my local Targets have shelves full of Lego Dimensions. All consoles.

  • +2

Just show the Target catalogue to BigW and ask them to price match. They did not check dates, got my stuff today to avoid rush.

    • +1

      WTF… well done.

      • -1

        Thanks.

    • Can't see Fallout 4 for $18… Hmmm.

  • -1

Any updates on the JB offer(s)? I've been into the store in the city and can't see anything!

    • +2

I called my local JB store earlier today to ask if they have any specials on this weekend and was told they have the following on sale tomorrow for $319

      XBox One S 500GB Battlefield 1 Bundle
+ Choice of 1 game. Definitely one is Forza 6, so I assume the same as BigW with Forza 6, Rare Replay, Rise of the Tomb Raider or Gears of War

Someone in another thread here on OzB posted that they had seen the flyer, so it seems legit!

  • I want to get a PS4, 95% for multiplayer gaming but I'm not sure my internet connection will be suitable. It's Vivid Wireless, I can get speeds up to 900 kb/s from e.g. Steam, is there any way I can estimate ping to PSN servers without buying a PS4?

  • Target Bourke St, Melbourne is already selling these at the sale price. There was plenty of stock half an hour ago.

    • Was the price marked or did you have to ask for it?

      • They were marked. They had to put the prices through manually, but they were ready to go.

        • Called my two local targets and they wouldn't sell at price early. But apparently have heaps in stock.

  • Grabbed TF2 and WD2 tonight from BIGW at North Lakes and they match Targets price and they had pricing out for their sale already.

  • I can confirm that the JB XBox One S 500GB Battlefield 1 Bundle is legit.

Stock varies from store to store.

A JB employee at Hurstville said there were 19 console deals in store and 7 console deals at North Sydney.

  • +9

I've started working on a guide as to what stores have what stock. So far it's only Fifa 17 and Titanfall 2 but I will continue to update it.

Target's online stock availability classes anything with 8 or more units as in stock, less than 8 as limited stock and 0 as no stock. Use the numbers as a guide as actual stock may vary.

Some stores may appear under 2 states because the system uses the stores nearest to a postcode and for example if I use the Broken Hill postcode, the 5 closest stores include Mildura (Vic) and Berri (SA).

    • That's awesome, thanks mate.

    • +1

      Ummm, isn't Titanfall 2 $36? (not $38)

EDIT: wow, I just saw that update right in front of my eyes

  • +7

      • +2

And listed on eBay at 12.05am for starting bid of $50 - "Brand new, unopened, unwanted present"

    • Yeah, my store is VERY overstocked on COD. We are a small store and got like 50 of each. Considering most other games we get maybe 10-15, that's a big deal. Still got most of them sitting behind glass…

      • Yeah, my store has stacks of a fair few games, especially COD and WD2. Durd0008's guide seems pretty accurate for most of our games

  • Big W at Broadmeadows wouldn't sell Titanfall 2 to me early ten minutes ago. They did have 'four day console sale' flyers up, but no games had prices reduced and the girl couldn't find anything that said they were having a gaming sale. I got the impression that had she some kind of data sheet with the new prices, she would have gladly sold it to me.

  • Anyone down Baldivis (Perth) way - price matched Deus Ex, Dishonored 2 and RotTR on PS4 at EB this afternoon, no issues at all, after being told by both EB and JB at Rockingham that they couldn't match until the sale had started (though both said they would be). Still just over an hour of late night shopping left.

  • Titanfall 2 is $36 in the title but $38 in the description??

    • Read the comments. To save you time, it's $36.

  • +4

I'll be the only one excited to get $22 Just Dance 2017 from the looks of it. I'm glad I have almost no interest in competitive online shooters (because I suck at them).

PLEASE DON'T abuse staff if thr game you want sells out.
PLEASE DO fill in an online feedback form. They do read them and often reply.

  • +2

Thanks OP. Got my games early coz my local target put price tags in the shelf early Thurs night. With no start date on the labels they had to honour the sale prices. Very happy :)

    • nice, what did you pickup?

      • Titanfall 2, Battlefield1 & Deus Ex.

    • Oh but foremost thank you to Target and its associates for kicking off on these amazing deals.

  • 12:01 no change in prices online….

  • They've changed - just got mine! :)

  • Prices updated cheers OP
    FO4 Still showing $27

  • Not getting the updated prices across multiple browsers
    :(

    • +2

add them to cart…new prices will reflect in cart

      • +1

Thanks, had to increase quantity then update as my preloaded cart wouldn't refresh-update.

  • Not on Tomb Raider

Edit: Updated now. Got Rise of the Tomb Raider & Doom. Both PS4

  • Thank you! Just ordered 3 games for my adult child :)

  • Grabbed a copy of Titanfall 2 for pickup :)

Most other games will probably be at lower prices by the time I get around to playing them so just one tonight. Heh.

    Nice one Target!

  • Done! Held off on Skyrim cause Black Friday sale on PS4 is cheaper $39ish and i don't mind digital downloads.

  • +2

Prices take about 10 mins to update. Most should be live now…good luck!

    • Does that include Target eBay too?

  • +3

I had to add to basket via the catalogue which had the live prices. Annoying because I had my basket loaded ready to go.

CnC paid with Paypal and staff discount on top. Noice!

    • What did you get?

      • +1

Titanfall 2 and BF1 for PS4. Only get extra 5% off with team member.

        • Nice! Enjoy :-)

        • +1

          @boratsagdiyev:

Should hopefully tear me away from Rocket League lol!

  • +1

The full games screen shows the old price but clicking on the game itself shows the new one.

  • +1

Couldn't get the PS4 games to update prices so I purchased Watch Dogs, Titanfall 2 and Doom for the Xbox One. Used my team member discount card to get the three games for $100. Thanks OP! ^_^

  • It's on and ordered

  • Thanks, Just ordered 3. Had to have each page open and kept refreshing until price updated.

  • Titanfall 2 fo xbox one is out of stock :(

  • Got titanfall 2

  • Was hoping it would update in the cart, didn't seem to. Adding them back in again worked.

  • Prices are now live online. ( click into the listing to see the new price )

  • Got FIFA 17, DOOM and Titanfall 2 on PS4. To bad that Fallout 4 wasn't available online for PS4 but should have lots of fun the these games any ways :). Great deal!

    • +1

Missed out on FO4 when it went to $27. Hasn't been back in stock since, unfortunately.

  • Titanfall sold out in 10mins

    • Was more like six minutes for XB1.

  • +2

Also note that TREE20 (for an additional $20 off) works if you're buying Battlefield and FIFA. (e.g. buying 2 copies of one or 1 of each).
