[PS4, XB1, XSX] Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy The Definitive Edition $19 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

300

I know is not the best remaster but cannot go wrong with new patches coming out and less than $20.
It's part of the 2 for $30 deal so can go as low as $15 dollars if you bundle with another game.
I got it today with RDR2 for $30 total.

Not upgradable to ps5 I think (correct me if I’m wrong)

Such a shame there's no PS5 upgrade available for this.

    • don't give them business idea to milk more money!

Please, they know what they are doing. They won't release a PS5 upgrade. They will make you buy the same trilogy again as a full "PS5" version at full price.

If only the switch version was $19…😅

Cheers, grabbed this (for series X) and RDR2 (for XB1)

It was patched very recently which has fixed a tonne of issues, and restored the classic lighting. Not perfect but much better shape now.

The Series X/PS5 version is $29 at Big W.

It'll be the PS4 version, there's no physical edition of the PS5 version for some bizarre reason.

        You're right. I forgot that PS5 doesn't have a Smart Delivery equivalent.

Correction Series X version is $20 at Big W now

        • It sort of does, there's a lot of games which have free upgrade to PS5 version which is the same as what smart delivery does.

Up to the publisher if they charge for this feature or not, some games are $5-15 for the upgrade to PS5 but there's many that did it for free.

Checkout this very long list of games with free upgrades:

@Agret: It's not the same. Many times I've put a PS4 disc in which has a free upgrade and I have to jump through hoops to download the PS5 version. Often saves don't also carry over seamlessly without also jumping through hoops.

@ozb88: As a former PS4 turned PS5 owner I'm a bit jealous of smart delivery!

  • Just a heads up for anyone wanting this for PS5, it doesn't come with the nice resolution increase, you're stuck playing the PS4 back compat version. The Xbox version doesn't have this caveat, smart delivery to the rescue!

I bought it from Amazon for $25 as it'd cost me more in time to drive to the shop, lol.
