It's absolutely irritating that complete editions of PlayStation games only have the base game and a download code for DLC, which kills the purpose of a complete edition entirely!
Good shout, only downside is it shipping from Amazon UK so a slight delay in getting it.
Also it's a UK copy.. Can you actually redeem the DLC on an AU psn account?

My friend lent me his PS5 copy and I returned it months ago, but surprisingly I'm able to play without the disc. There are some other reports of this but doesn't seem to be universal. Could be worth a go if anyone has a friend with a copy.
I also bought the DLC off the PSN while in possession of the disc, maybe that helped.

That’s the American version so you won’t be able to buy the US PSN Shadow of the Erdtree Expansion (easily) but if you have no interest in ever playing that then it’s ok.
