  • Looks a lot like the SKX007K2

  • The Orient Mako is a good price although the orange dial/rubber band combo has always been the cheapest Mako. The Mako Pepsi with stainless band was always the desirable one (I have one). This is a recently discontinued model, latest Mako II has dropped the the 2 o'clock crown and incorporated its function into the 3 o'clock crown. A lot of people dissed the 2 o'clock crown and so time's up for that design feature .. 😕 .. !! Personally I think it ads distinction in a crowded look alike diver market so I like it. Minority view obviously …..

    • What do you think of https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EWEQ3A?psc=1&redirect=…

in comparison to the ray II?

      • As I said before I have a Mako Pepsi I as an everyday watch and during the model runout I tried to buy a Mako I Blue from the Long Island Watch Co on eBay. They sent me a Ray II Black, which is more like a Rolex clone and may appeal to many for this reason (dots instead of numerals), they never said why, probably nil stock Mako I Blue, I just decided to keep the Ray II anyway. The Amazon page you're pointing to with the Mako I Black says nil stock also, new Mako Is are going to be hard to get going forward. Makes the original post Mako I Orange/rubber band here a good deal for anyone wanting any-model-will-do Mako I.

  • The Ray II is actually:
