for someone that doesn't really care about surround sound it's quite tempting.
however, i'm debating as to whether it is better to just buy a 5.1 or 7.1 or similar and just use stereo speakers for the time being, then upgrade later.
future proofing with dolby atmos seems to be a good idea
and other features, like having an app to control the thing, airplay etc. are all niceties that might be worth an extra 50-100 for every little thing.
