  • Does it apply on Sale items too?

    • Only exclusion they've stated is gift card purchases. So you should be able to. Might as well give it a go.

  • ordered two pairs cheers

30% off $120.. still pretty steep

Found cheaper prices on catchoftheday at $60 for the same size/pair

    • Thanks for telling us about the COTD deal andy, didn't realise it was cheaper there!! Cheers! :D

  • Any one have the new chuck taylor IIs? Recommend? The originals were the most uncomfortable things I've worn on my feet…

    • i was planning to the buy the originals because their product description shows "Nike Lunarlon insole for cushioning". Can't tell if that's a mistake though…

I am a Converse Junkie (I collect the limited editions but not to wear) - Chuck Taylor II is MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE. Has a cushioned insole. I find them a little 'tighter' in my regular size though with the new insole, but prefer the new to the old style. I think this style of shoe is better if you have a narrow foot.

  • in store today well.

  • They don't seem to have half sizes?

I've been a Converse man for a very long time but I just can't recommend them anymore. The quality has just gone downhill rapidly. I used to be able to buy a pair and they'd easily last a year or two, now I struggle to get 6 months. I'm not hard on my shoes, I wear them maybe 3 hours a day, heading to/from work, going to lunch etc. I don't get them wet or muddy or do any hard work in them yet they are falling apart like I soak them in river water for 10 hours a day.

My past 3 pairs have all done this. Just something to keep in mind.

  • Orders over $75 get free express shipping and any order gets free standard shipping. Bought a pair of $70 shoes and added 2 shoelaces for $5 for the express shipping.
