    There's a reasonable difference: CPUBenchmark i5-7200U vs. m5-6Y54

    The Core M is ultra-low-voltage so it should have pretty good battery life but a lack of guts. 7200U isn't amazing either (compared to a desktop) but it'll be noticeably faster than the Core M.

  One of the best? Not with a core M, sorry. My 3ish year old ultrabook smacks the crap out of this (i7, 256gb, 8gb) and it only cost $1050 from dell factory outlet.

    Good for basic tasks. I7 is not going to be necessary for basic tasks.
