Yeah been a long day whoops, fixed up with XFX instead

Shows up as 199, xe shows aud$260
Not sure about shipping but seems pretty cheap if 4gb is ok for you.
Shipping shows $20 for me. That's 290 shipped.
Note that this is the RS model, apparently its not so good?
The XFX GTR models are known to be top-tier 480s and decently priced at PCCG.
MSI RX480 8GB on eBay is $359.2 after 20% off
Careful, when buying the RX 480 in general. Since buying the card I've had issue after issue. Firstly the PC wouldn't even recognize the card. After finding the card, it crashed every single game I played. Plug my oldie GTX 560 no crashes. Received the RMA from FUTU then my mate gave me link on a possible fix.
Now the card works, So I cancelled the return. Not worth the problems IMHO. The online forums are littered with fed up RX 480 users about its power, compatibility and crashing issues.
I'll stick with Team GREEN for my next upgrade.
There is a simple fix to stop the crashing. Just undervolt it slightly at its max GPU setting and give it access to more power for when it needs it. Both done in about 10 secs in the drivers (wattman Tab).

My Gigabyte RX480 G1 8GB has been rock solid since doing the above.
we have 2 of the rx470 cards ( asus and xfx) in our house hold (2 PCs) , rock solid, runs cool, one pc needed power supply upgrade from its dubious 420W that came with the case……. love the new AMD chipsets except for the price….. no issues what so ever .
You have any evidence do back this up or you just an AMD hater? Most of what u claim is baseless and simple settings changes can fix that if it was true simple settings?
IMHO i have a EVGA GTX 780 SC that beat the crap out of an R9 290X at one time. Now it cant even compete againts an R9 380X, dont even get me started on direct x12. If u do not believe how nVidia stops supporting "legacy" cards that was bought for 700 bucks nearly 3 yrs ago and now it cant even compete a $200 card. Its all over the forums. Same thing will happened to MAXWELL.
Go and stay with team green and keep getting milked, why not just go buy an EVGA GTX 1070 or 1080 and see what it does to you in the coming summer.
Green team, you ever head of the settlement over the 3.5gb lie? Prepare for more lawsuits on Kepler and Maxwell async false advertisement.
Although Todes Angst's help is appreciated, I think a card should work out of the box without having to tweak the voltage settings until you find a setting that stops the card from crashing.
Also have a look at the link below, sounds like the cooler on the XFX RS version is awful and often can't even keep the card cool enough to run stock clocks.

Agree. The card should work at stock out of the box.
Would avoid RX 480 with its compatibility, power and heat issues and just go with a GTX 1060/1070 card.
@g12345567: There's no issue if you take the 10 secs to set the drivers properly.
I don't get it. Bought a new MSI RX 480 last weekend and it's been working fine ever since it's installed. Plays everything, no crashing. shrugs
I used to use AMD cards all the time, went back to Nvidia for my last 2 and havent looked back. And to do crap like undervolt etc to get it to work is pathetic, it should just work outta the box no tweaks needed.
That's the RX470.
