  Gainward Phoenix 1080 is $854 at MSY until tomorrow, which includes the 10% discount. Not sure which is the better card, but likely the Asus

    The Turbo is the lowest range of the Asus cards. Gainward is definitely better, even if just for the cooler.

      But the turbo is also one of the few cards that have blower style cooler vs open air coolers. Depending on your needs/preferences, a blower style cooler may be more suitable.

      It was temporarily out of stock and I'm still stewing over ordering one of them or not. Trying to hold off to see what an Ebay 20% off sale or Cyber Monday brings us.

      Edit, isn't that 1080, one of the ones that has been fine in regards to the heating issues?

        The 10% off MSY beats any of the 20% off eBay stores for most items, eg PC Byte etc…way way overpriced to start with.
