Has anybody used these - I' [and my work] have been burned by "Stainless China" before….
I'd probably use these if I ever needed to drill holes in butter and don't want to get my good drill bits dirty.
That's probably a good call.
I use these when I have to sacrifice a drill bit. They snap easy, blunt easy and the box breaks easy.
Exactly. If I need something done and don't want the gear to get ruined, I'll pop to Bunnings and get Craftright. OMG I bought their screwdriver set to keep as a spare in the garage and the handles spin around on the driver shaft, the driver stays nice and still in the screw!
I don't expect "economy" brands to last or perform as well as quality brands, but I DO expect them to at least perform at all.
However these bits would do just fine for when you have a nasty job. It's the false economy of "If they break, you just buy more at this price!"
I looooooooooove my Frost kit and a bunch of Suttons scattered in different boxes and my trusty drill bit sharpener!
The finest high quality chineseium.
"chineseium" - You should trademark that.

Good price for a HSS set, is that the normal price now (website doesn't show it to be on special)?
Packaging looks almost the same as the Frost drill bit sets, I wonder if they're just rebranded.
