So 8 months since the last battery charger deal. Still don't have a great charger for my eneloops so have been hunting around for one. From the previous deals this seems to get a thumbs up.
Of course if you want to spend money to save money, free shipping over $49USD.

Battery noob here. What do these provide over the regular energizer chargers from woolies? I'm using one of those and my eneloops aren't performing any better than your average rechargeable..
They charge each battery individually by discharging and then recharging so batteries dont get a "memory" and only charge half way each time.
They stop charging when the battery is full, unlike the energizer that just charges for a set time whether its charged or overcharged.what about the stock standard that comes with eneloop family pack, (not the smart charger)
how do they work?
I recharged my first 2 x AA eneloops in that, all I got is constant solid green light. I left it overnight - assuming they are charged now?Are they same as the local energizer type charger or specific for eneloops?
Thanks@SlipKnot:Red is charging, green is charged. Leaving them on over night can cause to over heat and over charge shortening the life span of the cell. This one is the same as enegizer. Just keeps pumping power till the timer is up
@Sarge2401:
Thanks
US power pack is a bit of a downer so might be bend with pliers job. I don't think it's 12v ? So tricky to get a proper AU one. Else it's cheap. Is this better than the Maha ?
From memory mine is 3.3V. Please don't bend pins with pliers! Just get a quality Aust plug adaptor.
Has anyone else had their power adapter die? My charger (this model) won't power up, and reports seem to be that the power adapter is usually the first to go.
I have the RS-720 from NKON it has round European pins on the plug - so needs an adapter (no amount of bending will make those fit an Aus socket).
It can't cope with fully flat cells - but 30 seconds in an old Energiser charger will make those cells visible to the RS-720.
Have had this one for maybe 4 years now and is still going strong. Got mine from Amazon back then and I have an converter plug on the end to use it here and have never had a problem. Pretty heavy Eneloop user here (Photographer and have 6 kids) and it's served us well.
Highly recommended.I bought one of these recently for my AA batteries after reading comments on previous ozbargain deals & very impressed with it:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Liitokala-lii500-LCD-3-7V-1-…Currently on sale for US$14.99 (previous ozbargain comments seem to indicate that this seller is the manufacturer)
Note that this doesn't include the power pack, but 12V 2A power packs are readily available. You can read more comments on the last deal here:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/265567I bought the smart charger from Ikea. Is that good enough?
How does this differ to the quick or smart charger?
Can anyone recommend a charger like the La Crosse that you can get here?
I use a Pure Energy charger on my eneloops. The good news is it works really well. The bad news is that they don't make them any longer .. :-( .. !! There are a few sellers however with old stock on eBay .. :-) .. !!
