I think there is something wrong with the review. I can't hear what the reviewer is saying :)

    QING CONG Shallotts
Sounds like some Asian vegies you'd find at your local Asian shop.

I think its pronounced as King Kong!!

You beaut bloody bonza mate, now that is a top quality telephony device. Can't go wrong with a kinky Qing Cong <— they should make a jingle

  • B28 = 700hmz?

    • -1

No. In fact it doesn't even seem to have 850MHz on 4G LTE so I would be vary wary buying this for use in Australia.

      • Please elaborate…

What are you talking about? Clearly says it has band 28 (i.e. 700mhz) in the description. Shame about the sluggish processor though (would've been much better with a helio processor…)

        • A quick google of this phone will reveal the actual specs. And none of them say it includes 700MHz or 850MHz - but I'd love to be proven wrong because I'd buy one if it does…

        • @Nukkels: Yeah, looks like only B1/B3/B7, although it's hard to be completely sure amongst the search results like Chinese banquets and Allium Ascalonicum (yum!)

Anyway, B7 is (going to be) much more important to most people (who aren't on Voda) than B5. B28 always good to have, but not necessarily a deal breaker IMHO.

there are many bands that are 700Hz, not all are Band28. For Aust we want Band28.

    $155 oukitel here

you'll have an impossible time trying to find cases and such for them

besides the funny name it blows my mind that for $150 you get a 4g metal case phone w/ FHD and 3gb and 32gb rom

sure the MTK cpu and the Mali gpu is behind the times but cant expect the world for that money

Soon to be preceded by Hoy Moy Buck Choy.

At such a low price it's quite likely they lied about the battery capacity, the camera is probably using some kind of interpolation, and it might not even have a e-compass (magnetometer).

    • +1

it gets worse- i bought one and it was just some android icons drawn on a rock. still, can't expect too much for the price

    • might not even have a e-compass

      NO

Holding out for the Chimpanzini Broccolini

  • product naming like these may sound cool where its originally from however these companies should really pay someone to think of branding that would come across better in other markets. or at least run it by an english speaker.

    • Well, they did employ a guy whose job is to visit translate.baidu.com and translate the product brand and manuals into english…

      • It probably makes heaps of sense to a billion chinese. to 25 million australians? eh who cares.
