I decided it would be fun to give my latest book away for free for 48 hours. So starting today, you can get Python 201: Intermediate Python free through Gumroad! or Leanpub!.

If you go with Gumroad, then you will need to use the following offer code: 201free. Note that if you want to receive updates to the book, you will want to create an account and add the book to your library.

The Go To Deal link for this deal is the Leanpub one and it has the coupon code embedded already. The expiry time is calculated from when the author posted the offer on reddit, so it could be off a little.

Note that this is an intermediate level book, so it assumes you already have some knowledge on Python. I haven't read the book in detail, only a quick scan through, and it looks alright. :)

There is only one 5 star review on Amazon. But the author's previous book Python 101 has 11 reviews, averaging 4.5.

    Awesome. And awesome timing. I've been playing with a script at work and I got a Unicode error.. No idea what Unicode is, but there is a chapter in this book titled Unicode.

    Anyone know if throwaway email addresses are usable? Is the book available for download immediately after entering details, or do they email it to you, and if so how long did it take until you received the book?

      Nobody answered, so I tried it anyway, using the LeanPub link.

      Yes, temporary email accounts work. As soon as you enter an email address and click "purchase", next page is the download links.

      To the email account, I received two emails: one with download links (a bit redundant), and a second email with a receipt. Both emails had links at the bottom saying "Don't like email? Unsubscribe from all emails." Clicking one took me to a webpage saying I have been unsubscribed from everything.
