I picked up this Authors previous deal on his Python 201 book, and found it to be quite good. He has just released his earlier "Python 101" ebook, free for 48 hours.

I haven't tried the direct download, but getting it from leanpub gives you access to all the updates. Earlier today they released some updates to 201 that were still available for free if you signed up during that deal a month back.
ehh, I failed an entire IT tech support course because of python. Just for that year they decided to throw in a small module to see how it would go, and ofcourse failing that meant failing the entire thing.

Thanks mate - was waiting for this after the 201 deal
I often use python to write small scripts/scrape website for changes and so on. Let's me write it alot quicker than alternatives thanks to the great third party modules available.
Thanks for this. I just got myself a Raspberry Pi 3 with the intent of learning Python, so this is good timing. I missed out on the 201 free ebook deal unfortunately :(
