Thanks.Used my free credits from those google surveys :)

  • Why aren't the 3 aforementioned processors supported? I didn't think it actually took any more effort to support them?

      Well you thunk it wrong.

      • Thanks for the enlightenment

I think it will be an Open GL ES level / graphic acceleration support issue. There would be a custom layer/assets for each platform.

      • I thought the whole idea was that you program for Open GL and if something isn't supported then it just looks worse/that feature is ignored. Unless you are saying that some new version of Open GL isn't supported for those chips is used?

        • No the OpenGL shaders need to be compiled specially for each chipset

        • @Agret: is that a big job? I thought something like that would be tiny compared to the development of the game.

Maybe tight arses with tablets based on those chips aren't buying games?

        • @Jackson: Yeah it is a tiny job they just need to produce a build for the platform. The problem is they need a device with that hardware to actually test it though to make sure it's playable properly.

        • @Agret: sounds like a bad PR move to me if nothing else. It's not like there's 100 procs, it's only 3 more. If I had one of these procs I woo ld hold it against them

  • The guy in the Go to Deal picture looks like Davey Jones

  • Added to my abes collection.
