      Unlikely. Planet Earth was filmed in High Definition. It wasn't filmed in 4K. If they did a 4K release then it would be just HD upscaled to 4K.

    Great Price! I purchased this copy a couple of years ago and it is excellent. Love the series. Unfortunately due to it being frequently passed around, it is now no where to be seen :(

    So tempted to grab another one but apparently there's also a Special Edition version which contains additional discs and footage. Anyone aware of a good deal for that? Might wait for that to come by instead.

        Thanks mate how thoughtful of you. I had heard from a few people that Netflix is limited and can sometimes have some shows and not have others? Was seeing if someone with Netflix could confirm for themselves, my cousin was considering getting Netflix. Anyway, even from your link it shows the dates for some of those as March 2015 etc. so I am not completely sure if they are still being aired of have been taken off? Was hoping to just get that clarified.
        Yeah internet at home, I heard that's the dream right? If I am ever able to afford a house, I'll look into getting internet there. Anyway, just at Maccas ATM, and my order is up! :)
