  I bought one of the 8TB external drives from Amazon. In case anyone is wondering, Seagate give 1 year warranty only. Mine came out as 14 months when I checked online at Seagate for some reason. The Seagate box even has a sticker saying 1 year.

  BTW.. how did you get $158 delivered? Did they throw the delivery cost into it as well? Getting charged $10 for delivery on top for the Blue model..
