  • Could someone recommend a phone similar to the note 3 but smaller? Max of around 5"

    • Xiaomi Mi 5s

      • +2

you cant even buy one yet.

    • The Xiaomi Mi 4c is 5", has its drawbacks though

      • yeah, no sd card kills it
        bought redmi 3s instead
both HD on 5" which was the max size she wants
        I'd go FHD 5.5"+

      Zuk Z2 or redmi 3s

    • Samsung Galaxy J5. Pre-intalled Google services & apps, long last battery, ok camera and Marshmellow update.

    • Redmi 3s is the smaller version. Runs a Snapdragon 430 and only 720p. Still has gigantic 4100 mah battery, so similar battery life. The performance of the 430 is quite good though, plays games fine. Rumours of a redmi 4 running a Snapdragon 625 and 1080p screen to be announced soon.

  • Is the page in Russian? Is only the Gold color available for this price?

    • No; Yes; Grey is AU $190.22

      • Cheers bazzaa.

  • Which is better? This or moto g4 plus?
Tempted to get the moto at officeworks and then saw this

    • Using moto g4 plus now and is a great phone. Replaced my lg g4 bootloop with and have to say I can't see much difference in the two.

  • redmi note 3

any reason why this isnt more upvoted? isnt this the lowest price ever? is it cause of the new model?

    • Probably because it the 16gb/2gb model. It makes sense to pay the extra for double the storage and the extra ram.

      • i didnt notice that!

        thanks

      • maybe not much real-world difference according to comparisons on youtube between the 2gb/16gb abd 3gb/32gb models. Perhaps if you genuinely planned to install a gazillion apps or do nothing but demandng gaming on the thing….

  • note 4 here for the same price…

anyone know if its any good… just bought my mum the one from Ali… wondering if I should see if I can cancel the order and get the geek buying one. (no 700 4g, but my understanding is Telstra is mainly 1800 anyways) it also has 850 3g…

deca core Helio X20 processor 64bit, with 2.1GHz frequency
    3GB Ram 64GB storage
so specs seem better just no 700…

thats USD 190 so about $255AU

      • Omg, I can't Believe I missed that! Thanks for pointing that out!

  • has anyones order gone though yet? (mines still sitting as processing)

    • still processing…

  • Mums phone arrived yesterday, finally - major point, is i talked her into getting a "Chinese phone"
which obviously doesn't have the support a local phone would.

Two things i did notice, was 1 it didnt come with a manual, so she wasn't sure how to change the sim card. (had to walk her though it, and even then she couldnt do it - possibly different size sim than she is using) and 2 there is no Australian local, she had to choose India, no US, no UK…

youd think for a "global" phone (with B28 for the Australian marked.. and others) they would put all locals in?

will see her on sunday, interested to see how it goes and get a telstra sim… now all i need to do is find a sim deal!
